Um, he was commenting on invisigreens. It is very hard to prevent enemies from picking up greens which you cannot see.

I've once had an exhausting long conversation with Sirius. about these invisithingies, along with a practical part of the lesson. Guess the thing is that those random greens are resolved, i.e. placed, client-side, not server-side. So the server actually doesnt know there's a green until the other player picks it up and tells the server to up his bounty/award him the content of the green.

If invisigreens can not be eliminated, I'd like there to be an equal amount of full charge and energy depleted greens. Make people think twice about using greens so often.

What could be done is to lower the radius that greens are dropped from the center until all invisible greens are in a tile or about. You may be able to put a rock on top of it.

energy depletes are so rare though...

I like mattey's idea.. make just as many depletes as full charges, then people are taking a chance if they're being chased and they go for a green

I love it when someone is chasing me like crazy and i go over a FC green, its wicked cause right after your bullet blasts through the nose of their ship, you can almost picture the confusion and surpise on their faces, its awesome.

Invisigreens are quite often caused the same way that someone can lag through a mine in base. If a laggot flies up to a mine fast enough, his information isnt sent to the server fast enough (telling the server that he halted) so the server believes that the mine was crashed, although client-side, the mine was never hit. This same principle can be applied to green, I believe. So in conclusion, since invisigreens can't be stopped, we should, like mattey said, know when someone gets one of these.

Invisigreens are the random greens that appear on screen not the result of a death. So that the server doesn't have to place and track every single green each client on its own places it. So where you see an invisigreen someone else won't, hence the name.

It's also annoying when I get energy depleted, or engine shutdown
