Stayin' in one firing spot

Yesterday I decided to go to that wb spot and try to stick to the wall. I successfully did it after about 5 minute. I kept on moving back to the wall as soon as I drifted 1 pixel away from it. I waited one minute or two to see if I would drift again, but I didn't. Only then I could leave my continuum opened and go sleep without anxiety . Anyway, when I woke up the day after, I verified if my ship was still at the same exact spot and able to fire all the way down to midbase, and the test was positive. So it is possible

I just remembered 1 way to do this (not the best way). Attach to a terr and get the correct spot by firing. Let the terr lay a portal. Go to a safe and stop (ctrl). With the wb attach to the terr, warp to the spot and detach. Voila!

In certain arenas it is possible to do this, i have not attempted this in a pub yet but i will tonight however in ?go fatbase i can camp in that spot indefinately hero will back me up on this as we both do it everytime fat base is hosted.

Hey, I'm just curious to know if it's possible to hold the follow position. Look at the image to see what I'm talking about. You align up with a certain point on that back brick, and you can fire through the slit, down the entrance, and into the middle area. Obviously, I sort of float away from the spot as I stay there, and it varies between a few seconds and a little less than a minute. My only question is if it is possible to "stick" to that one spot without floating off and having to move back and re-align again. I did it once earlier today randomly, like I could sit there and camp all I wanted. Strangely enough, I can't do it again. I appreciate any response and/or help. Thank you for reading.

you adjust your graphics, someone sent me one a long time ago but it makes you really laggy and isnt as helpful as you'd think

That was added in paintbrush afterwards, mod graphics would have moved his nametag farther down and to the right.

Once when i got really bored, i was flying around in pub terr and i decided to do something with my bullets. id fly backwards at just the right speed and when i shot bullets, they would go neither back nor forward. I know your terr has to be moving backwards to do this, but it is REALLY HARD to do. Maybe if you become really bored one day like I did, you could try this too.

Then it would be 3d and we couldn't see around walls. Also you could have a computer calculate how much thrust to use to come to a stop

ie use a bot. You'd still have to be able to apply that amount of thrust.
