His little dealie isn't hurting anyone. I doubt he'd be asking for any kind of staff support for it, and instead just run it manually through whatever players he manages to sign up for it. If you're already in TWL it doesn't much apply to you. I see TWD as the minor league to TWL, but I also fully realize this is something this dude wants to do for fun, so have at it. Good luck with it, and I hope you have enough interest and people to make it enjoyable for you and all involved.

Also note: since the games played will probably be TWD games that he uses the stats from in order to keep track and award his own personal league stuff to, it also encourages play in TWD. Doesn't matter if anyone here is against/for it. If you get enough to participate in game, have at it.

we used to have the system of twl-higher, and twl-lower...

and now we have twl (higher) and twd (lower)

we already have twd for those who didnt make it into twl

if you concentrate on twd it'll make twd more exciting

if you make a new league we'll end up with 2 shit leagues rather than one ok one.

Its first-come first-serve. Isint that what youre trying to avoid? Like youre saying squads couldnt make twl because they formed too late.

What if you have the 12 squads already signed up and blah. But what if another squad wants in, but theyre late...

What then?

Its pointless, you're not proving anything. Plus, I agree with whoever said... "Yeah we won TWML" it has absolutely no value... It wont get you any twl recognition. I mean yeah, its an ok idea, worthy of trying, but there are too many dead-ends.

This I have suggested before for squads that dont make TWL, because TWD has no real meaning other than practice IMO. But most people agree that TWD is for squads that dont make TWL. Althought it has no Playoffs, no season, and no value other than trying to make TWL next year. I like your idea, but I doubt it will happen.

I think everyone on the roster would take it as a slap in the face to be in a lesser league. Just be happy with TWD, cuz everyone is in it. If your squad wants lame competition they can get it in TWD, and if they want a real game, they can get that too.

The idea for Minor or Farm Leagues seems degrading. Its just like having a Farm or Recruit Squad (didn't BasingCrew.. with Quirion?) Just play, this isn't professional sports.

Cook: "How the ---- would you qualify for your league?" We select the top 1-15 ranked TWD squads and ask if they'd like to join. On occasion if we see higher developed and great potential in squads we'll invite them if they're lower ranked.

Those who want to participate in this will not be hurt in any way. We (Puffin The Smoke and Xog) are doing this on our own free will and desire. Although any help from experienced workers would be superb :up:

That's why the squads that don't care would experience what true squads do. The squads that 'don't care' are the ones with no idea how fun it is to be in an involved squad; to get known, have actual experience, and organization. That is what this event is doing! Giving those other squads the experience of an involved squad.

Tough guys do it with Vi. For your second comment: I think this will be the largest problem while playing on that level. Squads dissolve. That's why TWD is pretty much the optimal thing you can get for such squads.

I take back what I said about this being a disaster, it's actually turning out pretty well. Only a few more squads are needed, and TWML will be starting.
