Such a thing exists? News to me. Kinda sucks when you are 28-8 and about to beat someone who was 8-2 (aka hiding) and then get specced because staffers dont know wtf is going on.

Well MK, I was chasing you along the wall (opened up elim) and we were trying to kill eachother, obviously. Well, you missed me, so I chased, you shot while I was still chasing. I was like, 'Shit, an invisble green' but since u still had no engery left, I chased you some 6cm further, where again there was no green, and u shot? Luckly u suck (* jk :P *) just bad aim that game, and missed. You then shot again after than when no green around, maybe they did the right thing . But you probably did not cheat, just lucky.

I remember you FCing me 3 times in what would be one radar length. It's pretty cheesy, but if staff sees it as a major problem they should add more depletes or engine shut downs, then they'd know for sure if you cheat or not. As it is, it is very believable that someone would green an insane amount of fcs like that, because they're too common.

I have been playing trenchwars for nearly 5 years, and been on staff off and on for nearly a year and a half. And I agree, getting threatened to be banned seems pretty stupid for getting full charges. Let me try to explain - Alot of staffers in TW are not elim players, and if they are, mostly javs where greens are not really a problem, but unfortunately, alot of inexperienced staffers are forced to take help calls about cheating in elim. They go in there and see you getting invisible greens, and do not know how they work, and of course they will think you are cheating..

From what I know of greens, there is something in continuum, not actually online that shows you and everyone else where greens are, so if your computer is faster, you might see greens quicker then everyone else, and if your computer is slower, you might see greens that have already dissapeared from others screens.

In short.. I would suggest that when it comes to tricky situations in things such as elim/baseelim and other such speciality matters, that only staffers experienced on the game, and experienced in the arena that the person is getting blamed for cheating in take the calls, its the only way to make a fair and reasonable judgement. - Wark <ER>

I once shot 2 double bullets after eachother by grabbing 3 Full charges. My opponent went totally crazy because I would be a cheater. There was just a group of 4 greens and 3 of them happened to be full charges.
Didn't even hit the guy, couldn't aim because I was going for the greens.

Just so you know, I'm not taking any side here whatsoever, I would just like to know that if invisigreens are indeed a bug and not a feature, would using them to your advantage come under this?

In a response to warkwark, first of all it doesn't matter how fast or slow your computer is. That doesn't effect who see's certain greens, etc. Greens are somewhat randomly different on everyones computer. The pattern of greens showing and not showing is going to be different with everyone. Some greens don't even register as being gotten on one persons computer while on another someone just flew by a green close enough to get it.

I don't think you need to worry about most of these staffers MK, if you are really having a problem with a certain staffer that keeps warning you I'd just talk to a well experienced mod, I suggest Overstrand.. THE PUSHER, etc. Don't worry about what some 3 month staffer that just got his <ER> tag's gonna tell you. Most of them don't know shit anyways.

Anyone that has played elim and this game for a long period of time knows that greens are pretty random, whats the fun of chasing someone if you know if there gonna get a green? Haven't you ever been chasing someone and they stop and turn around out of no where (you not even seeing a green) and then it hits you that hmm maybe that guy just picked up a green? Frankly I like the suprises what fun is a game if its always predictable? I think it should be kept the way it always has been.

But everyone could do this, it's not really a bug. Like the repelled rocket will lead to the highest speed you can reach in subspace. People coding the game would have to make choises on how to let certain things work.
Someone said when they asked PriitK about the "rocket-bug" he said it wasn't a bug but a feature :P

I think that it's perfect for elim to have the full charges and the invisible ones. It's all for themselves and somehow this gives people a chance to survive against people trying to vulch. Everyone has the same advantages and disadvantages (with some random), with these features.
