How can you get an invisible green?

If you pick up a green, somebody else might not see it. People see greens in different places sometimes. And yes, they should be removed.

I think engine shutdowns would be a neat feature to add to the green list in elim. Im not a big fan of any type of pansy who relies on greens to save himself. I respect the more extreme people who shoot, hit, and you die instead of shoot, run to green, shoot again. That whole strategy is lame itself, add some engine shut downs! :up:

Engine shut downs ARE a part of elim, they're just really really rare. Spawning people that got them is fun though.

Hmmm... I've seen engine shutdown greens in other arenas, but I've never gotten one in Elim... And I pick up a lot of greens... I've gotten very few energy depletes... And whenever I do happen to get one, it rarely affects me since I usually pick up greens right after shooting, so I was low on energy anyway.

Tho, code... I usually shoot, run backwards, get green, and shoot again, so there is no "turning around" part involved.

As for you herc, I think rushing is more lame than fc deaths, so fc greens are really the best defense vs it.

The mod (not ER) that warned me was Mootland Farmer, btw. Though, I was getting a shitload of FCs that game. But all they have to do is watch my bounty and look...! I bet it went up!

Invisi greens might be a bug, but it can't be abused. There is no way for you to know what greens you see that others don't. So even if you wanted to abuse it, you really can't!

The problem is, it seems you always get FC's when you go for them MK. So either your extremely more lucky then everyone else, or your cheating.

I don't always get FCs. I get them about 33% of the time, though... I just get a lot more greens than the normal person... I always fly right for them (and I rarely die going for a green, which is strange)

In my own defense. I never threatened to ban. I did warn you I would spec you. My warn had nothing to do with the Full Charge. It had to do with you're recharge, which was suspicious.

Honestly, rushing takes more skill then to pick up a full green charge and shoot. There is nothing lame about rushing what so ever, you do it on your ships own energy. However, using your energy and shooting, then picking up a friggin cheat (green) is really crappy. Sure, anyone can rush, doesn't mean they rush good though. Not saying that im a good rusher but there is more content on rushing that meets the eye.

I am writing this based on the assumption that Mootland Farmer does not have access to energy viewing. If he does, don't bother reading on because I am wrong.

If you can't see someone's energy, how can you know if it is a suspiciously quick recharge rather than the picking up of full charge greens. Unless you studied his bounty and made sure that his quicker than expected shots were not after an increase in bounty, then there is no way for you to know that he didn't just get lucky with a FC.
I doubt someone like MetalKid would make his recharge faster (through a speedhack?) as I am sure he knows what the consequences would be.
