I'd like it so that when you flip a selection then you don't have to replace all the tiles that are facing the wrong way

Ooo, that just made me think of something else. It would be excellent to have a way to map tiles so that you can copy, paste, and then flip all the tiles without them being reversed. This would be an amazing feature, and since a lot of maps are symmetrical, it'd cut down building time a lot.
And you wonder why me and Wadi get pissed at the people who use these forums

When you are about to open a map a preview thing would be nice to have.
In SSME you see the tileset before you open the map, but most of the time when making a map I have several instances of it, so some kind of radar preview would be nice to have.

Well, I guess some people aren't accounting for others being high on PCP when they post. People who are high on PCP have rights, too.
They say that the strength of a man is equal only to the control he has over his necessities. My habit is very much under control, although occasionally it occasionally causes me to glean over posts. In retrospect it was still productive, as it did include some actual implementation of the idea. It was practically pseudocode. Plus, I mean, come on. ASCII graphics. Can you handle that?

Edit: btw, does anyone know a good place to upload files to? I wanna upload some example of stuff my program can do (actually, just the monochrome importer thing for now). any suggestions??

ok, I guess I'll start programming now if there are no other suggestions.

Not so sure if this was said yet, but in order to make good maps, a grid appears and you select one tile, then you draw on the grid whatever you wantand Subspace Overburnt Map/LVZ Editor (SOMLE) will draw it out for you, then you can tile it yourself, also a feature you can choose any font and Type it in and you can drag the words anywhere, just a cool feature in FACTS you can put into SOMLE.
