Trench Warriors,
With the recent update to the pub map, amid several improvements, I feel something important has been lost. Left, right and bottom safes have been replaced by minuscule little booths barely big enough for a Levi to turn around in. Even a Weasel might feel out of place in such claustrophobic conditions. While I am no enemy of progress, I feel something of inestimable value may have been lost.
Behold:
Fig 1.1: The classic, sophisticated safe, venerated by scholars, architects and armchair philosophers.
vs
Fig 1.2: The "modern" safe. What is this, a safe for ants?
These classic, noble safes were with us for two decades. They are an integral part of pub, vital to the culture of Trench Wars.
For these reasons and several dozen more, I am proud to announce a petition to register the classic safe design of SSCU Trench Wars with UNESCO as World Heritage sites. If the petition is successful, these safes will be protected as cultural relics of this great zone, in perpetuity.
I ask you to join with me in signing this petition to return our safes to their former glory. Together, we can KEEP SAFES SAFE.

- How many memories include narrowly avoiding death in the comforting arms of left safe?
- How many rivalries were formed by the dance of warbirds as they dueled around south safe?
- How many poor and sometimes illegal decisions were made in the shadow of right safe?
- And who can forget the first time they tried to make a quick landing in one of these natural beauties, only to be shot out of existence by a knave lurking in a corner using the false safe tile?
