Vets are people who have been around longer then most people, typically have a lot of usage "not from spec", know the game inside "n" out, As for well known, there are a lot of vets out there who have been going at this game since 97 who dont care to be well known ect, a vet in peoples eyes is always different so there would be no true definition of a vet.

-When a vet loses at elim, they were never trying anyways.
-When a vet wins at elim, it was easy as pie.
-Whenever a vet dies, they respond in laughter, apparently vets think it's funny when they die.
-Or, whenever a vet dies, they become tired and begin to yawn, alot. On average 1 per death.
-Or even, whenever a vet dies, they are apparently "newbed". They in fact state that a player "lesser" than them has successfully killed them, and no matter how many times more the "newb" kills the "vet", it is still always "newbed".
-Vets never have numbers, underscores, or other symbols in their names.
-Vets never communicate with players below their skill level outside of "ez", "newbed", "racial slur", etc*
-Part B to the said above: you must be lonely.

I'm not saying that players who have been around the game for a while can't be nice or whatever, I've met my share of cool people. But generally, the players who call themselves "vets" fall into one of those actions if not more or all.

i been playing myself for about 4-5 years now i dont count anymore..
i have taken a few breaks on that so its kind of hard to really know.
my first char was created back in 2000 but i dont call myself vet or
leet. i would call myself player, used to be ok in ss but after this break i plain
suck.

anyway, i belive this community is way to focused on "vet" "leet" status.
you cant just selfclaim a vet status because you played long time, neither
can you claim it by won elim or any other even a few times. vet as you might
know means Veteran wich means proffesional since way back, and if you want
to become a veteran you have to work very hard for it. it does not come over a night.

a veteran dont whine when he gets shot, he knows what he did wrong and
correctes it without complaining, he knows its his own fault he died.

a veteran dont accuse people for lag, he knows lag is a part of the game and accepts it and controls it (by meaning if he miss once he probably dont miss twice)

a veteran is professional and therefor acts professional, what almost every
sad wannabe cant handle.

so who is leet in SS then really.. well its not hard to get somewhat skilled.
but it takes years to become untouchable. till that times comes i suggest
some work on their attitude problems. a vet are not rude because they
get killed, it happens to everyone hundreds of times every day.. so whats the

I have been playing for a while now, I remember the good ole days of TW, I remember a lot of people, and I know a lot of people...
