this might not apply to everyone, but it is true in general. Basers are nicer than duellers.

In my opinion, players don't have to be well known to be staff. As long as they can contribute to helping out and maintaining the zone in a good way, then they could be from the scrapheap if it was up to me.

I mean, would you really care if someone you don't know is hosting for you or helping you out?

when i was on staff and changed my staff name about 3 months in, i got bitched at by every staffer there, including the pusher (although he did it in a nicer way than the randedl's & erathia's out there) about how staffers are supposed to be known or they cant be really trusted by the people asking the questions. it seems that whole trust thing they were trying to build ended with pure_luck's reign... and although i think he's a nice enough guy, i do not agree with what he has done as dean.

Blanke it's obvious you wanna join staff, so here's the inside tip:

go play ?go base a lot.

pretty soon you will be made a <ZH> (aka <ZB> - zone baser) and then if you're on a squad with a dean of staff or you know them very well, you will be promoted rather quickly to <ER> (aka <BR> - base referee) and you can ignore the whole zone of tw that goes on outside of ?go base

95% of staff = basers. Why not change it? And out of those 95% there is like 60% ready to get axed, because they are lazy as hell. Not doing ANYTHING, and online like once a month.

i've added my own opinion of what league they play... feel free to correct me if i'm wrong, and this isn't to bash basers... i just think that the public in tw should have a more diverse staff... when i make ?cheater calls in baseelim... it takes atleast 3 calls before someone will do something... and when they do come, they dont even know what teaming is, they just like "oh he fired somewhere in that other guys direction so they're not teaming"

again, i was just saying the vast majority of new hires and active staffers are basers.... didn't say every single one of you were at any point... because i know there are some of you who dont but i rarely see you around.

im not even saying that anyone in particular is a bad candidate for staff, i just want some baseelim and elim players who know how to do the job instead of just knowing how to play ?go base all day and take the stupid cheater calls from pub like "this guy tk'd me, so ban him" which are the easiest calls to take.
