joining and playing with wr (one of my all-time fave squads i was on) with people like bronc, depi, gnome, arro, castro, yojo, etc (i know i missed people out but you know who you are!)

and i suppose eeks' chat, altho it isnt as fun as it once was

- Zombies. Usually, I'd just run to die immediately to give the zombies an extra man starting out.
- Owning cloaks/blind with an all a-s team.
- Warzone all the time.
- Teaching people how to play Journey.
- Beating Diso in the warzone tournament. Due to points-lag there is no telling who really won.
- Losing to Stone thanks to the points-lag issue. Ria accusing us of editing a screenshot. Still hilarious.
- Beating Pallies in twl5. At the time, it was one of the closest matches ever.
- Getting mvp in the first ever private basing game (Spybreak! was terr).
- Volcs losing the a-s squad. Thanks Prriit for getting it back.
- TWL7 playoffs. Coming back against Incuria (in the last few seconds shaking so much because I didn't know how we were going to get the flag back after I had to port). Nine minute cram against Mambo. Seeing za come on for round 2 against Pallies and knowing we had a shot (Wind pm'ed me with "yay, we can win now").

I remember Zombies2 had a safe that staff didn't know about for about a week, and when they found out rather than fixing it immediately they'd just spec people if they went in
I remember when Matrix arena came out and was so damn cool, carbon and I would spend hours racing eachother through it. Testing the Matrix2 and pacman was fun too...

Another thing I just thought of - KJW terring and we'd beat the turret limit by all attaching at the same time "As soon as I hit the wall, EVERYONE ATTACH!"

Roi- that "elim battle" made me laugh, I completely forgot about that. I was so pissed because I felt like the only wb on at night. It would be like 10 consecutive jav games :death:

I found Cont while randomly searching for 3d space games. I stumbled on www.mpogd.com/ and cont and decided to try it out even though it was 2d because I was running out of options.

I logged on, and I can't remember where I first played but it didn't matter, after checking out different zones I ended up in tw very quickly.

- The newb moments are fun to look back on, I had the hardest time figuring out how the client/zone/arena thing worked. And I didn't find out about chats for the longest time.

- Bowing down before pub gods like BossHawk and Lunch3.

- LTing in pub was allot of fun, I used to be able to look at an LT's name and instantly know how good they were. Big btys = $

- I hated the spider. "Such a lame ship, once it hits you once you can't even fight back." lol

- Going to every hosted event and slowly getting better.

- Finding out that this computer sucks too much to play windowed.

- Being mvp in pub because I played so much.

- Feeling like a newb but having the newer pub newbs saying I was leet.

- Winning in zombies for the first time, and getting hooked on zombies.

- Finely finding .?go base.

- Wondering how anyone would EVER reconize my name, so many people.

- Sharking because it was the only way to get picked and doing prety good for someone who knew nothing about sharking. After building up a reputation as someone who would shark (not good at it + me not liking it that much) I got people to put me in as spider.

- Getting mvp/fighting like a mad man with Lunch3 to get mvp in spiders.

- Really wanting to get into a squad and not really knowing why you would want to be in a squad in tw except to hang out. Not wanting to join any 'newb' squad even though I was a newb myself.

- Xu invited me to juice after I mvped a few times in a row in .?go base but me telling him I "didn't want to join a squad right now but thanks" because I didn't know if Juice was a 'newbie squad'.

- After doing "research" and asking what other people thought about the squad "Juice" I ended up joining my first squad - o/ Juice :wub:

- Mvping in twbds.

- KK yelling at me because: "Vitron your banner looks too much like a bomb it keeps scaring me! ASLDKasdofi932"

- All the crazy things we did/do in juice. Tking and such. <3

Mine are kinda "newbish" compared to some of the people here as I've only been playing since early 2002.

When I first started, my main goal was to get a positive record in pubs. I would try so hard, and I would be thinking "Ok, I just have to kill 10 more people and I will have an even record"... it was pretty hard.

Tons of people accidently messaging me when they were trying to message "Stab" and Stab telling me to stop using this name.

Eventually getting better and competing for the best ratio in pubs. I was a pretty 'good' pubber by then and I used to get at least 4:1 on a regular basis, and people used to PM me all the time. :P

First time someone made me a captain in #mythrandir and I didn't know how to add people to the game so I pressed Esc+Q in embarassment.

First TWD squad was FMM in 2002. I checked our old, old TWD history when it was still on the site and my first TWBD game was in a shark. :P

Me and shyne4178 (Jamal) telling Gundam-LP (Necromotic) that bukkake was when someone eats cake and it's all over their face, and he believed it.

Leaving FMM after we were in a TWBD game and someone used all the subs up and we had no terrier.

Being on Bohemians and BossHawk getting us banned from TWL6.

Joining Spastic in 2003 and Pure_Luck telling me I wouldn't be a starter.

Getting banned my first and only time for logging on as TWDBot9 or something and messaging people that a TWBD game was starting or that they lost a game.

Kamakazi_Kitty giving Necromotic a "sex talk" and him asking a ton of stupid questions. That was the most I've ever laughed at something on the internet.

I love playing journey... It hasnt been hosted in a while, I remember Erat always adverted it when I played for A-S, and then we would dominate because no one knew how to play.

other things I remember...

- Loggin into Trench after the Server switch typing ?lag and my ping being lower than 200ms

- Playing a warzone game for about 2 hours and having a 609 terr bounty

- When NGI Downtown was run by Ave-iator and NOBODY!!!!!! (I think I played there for at least an hour each day with TheNakedTruth)

- Roofing with talon and daze (shit I still do that)

-Mr. Guru Medication (i made a funny!) letting me join alcho while I was in my (I'm retiring from SS phaze but still want to play)

-getting SS of stuff like this while on A-S

I think the only people that still play in that SS are me brook and rec...
