actually, they aren't. if u were here before the tiny weasel was implemented, u would see those holes are for people to shoot through like its a big castle, and for levs to bomb the inside.

im glad to see that people dont like it very much, the weasel has become a very decent ship just recently when its energy is slowly drained from cloaking/stealth. i simply think the night weasel is a lil too powerfull for tw.

and i like wise's comment, maybe they should rearrange this ships we already have.....maybe just one or 2. thx for the imput guys

I was here when the weasel was big and couldn't fit through the holes... I was just talking about the weasel that the nightwasp replaced, not the ancient one.

Firstly, screw you guys who want it to replace the levi - these new settings have finally made it a playable ship. :P Weaken it's blue bomb a little and it will be great in the game.

After playing for a while on these settings I honestly have to step back from my earlier anti-cloaking stance. Having the weak guns so he can only anonymously murder vulnerable ships makes it OK in my books. ^-^

I'm still not sure about the single turret. It's been my unvoiced dream to give the leviathan a single turret instead. It would encourage lev protection and a lev-spider turret would be GREAT fun to hunt. Maybe in compensation raise the bounty the lev needs to attach to other ships up to 25.


On the crybaby front: can we pretty up the ship graphics? I'm using "Darkside" shipset and the old nightwasp sticks out like a sore thumb. [insert crying baby smiley]


edit to add: I just don't get the "too powerful"... Is it that I kick so much ass that everythings ez? lol

In April Fools thread, someone made a good point;

Why doesn't the Nightwasp take over the Levi slot, and keep the weasel.

I agree with the above, then I would have no problem with these recent changes.

The way I liked to see the Nightwasp tweaked;

-remove 1 mine
-keep 1 repel
-keep 1 ship attach
-make rotation abit faster
-give it xradar if weasel comes back
-have same energy drain as weasel when cloak/stealth is on
-Make it 3-way multi-spread L1 bullet fire. Current multi-spread for it; is quite useless.

I think if Nightwasp becomes Ship 4, and weasel returns, there will be less bitching.

Wrong, the one single mine stays. remember its not a mine that kills with one hit unless your energy is low

wrong, giving it X radar would ruin all of the fun of it VS its self.

wrong, the weasel cloaker should drain when cloaked because when it had no drain, it kills with one hit and it was Xing people like crazy, ruining everything you try to do because you know your just going to get Xed in a few seconds and might as well not even try. this so far asnt been so much the case with the nite wasp, still checking it out.

And I'll again add: we shouldn't be trying to get rid of the lev. We should be trying to find a way to bring a heavy bomber into the game in a fun way. IMHO

For those who want the levi completely gone: you have two pure pubs, and on top of that nite wasps now give levis a lot of trouble in the field. maybe if nite wasp does not stay and is only for april fools, then nite wasp might as well be ship 4 in pure pub, since theres only 7 ships there?

This DOES sound really fun. And it would make the gameplay even more fun. Sharks with reps, spids with rapid fire, and lancs with their multispread would be SO cool! And if you dont see that, you dont know what fun is. Without it, war isnt the same. Its like WWII without the atom bomb.

Who the hell couldnt give levis trouble in the field???!!!!! Do you suck that much you cant kill a slow ass levi???!!! You can kill levis with sharks, granted your arent repped, rocketed, or portal fucked by them first. A lone levi is just as dangerous as any other ship with these tricks up its sleeve.
