I don't really have a lot of contact with staff, cept for the forums, where ZeUs!! seems to be everyone's favorite party animal. I think overall, the only reason why people have a problem with Wadi is because when people break the rules, he enforces them. Not a very difficult dynamic to understand.

I've been to a couple other forums where the median age was a bit younger, so the rule enforcement tends to reflect the inconsistency of youth. However, I think everything here is pretty consistent and fair. In fact, I'm suprised this thread hasn't been closed yet, actually, because the whole thread seems like you're trying to tempt fate.

It's a simple idea: Pay attention to the rules, and you won't get banned.

My response to complaints about staff in general.

I think you all need to keep in mind that staff members VOLUNTEER their FREE time to better serve the TW community. And when I say better serve, that doesn't mean abuse powers wherever and whenever the hell we feel like it. We too, just like the rest of you, have to abide by the rules.

I can't speak for every staff member, but I follow the Golden Rule: "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you." I'm sure every staff member feels the same; hence we have rules that make cheating illegal as well as abuse and so forth. I know I don't want to play against a player who is cheating, I'm sure the rest of you don't want to either. ...And that's why staff is here, to better serve the community as to do away with cheaters and abusers alike.

I also know some of you think staffers are lazy and don't respond to help calls and the likes. We too have lives like the rest of you, we try our best to answer every help and cheater call, but that simply isn't always possible. Just like cops in the real world, they are there to enforce the law (rules), but they can't be everywhere at once to enforce such rules. They have to follow procedures just like the rest of TW staff members have to.

…And about warnings and bans. If you don't like being warned or banned, don't do the heinous acts! If you truly believe you were wrongfully warned or banned, send an e-mail to Complaints@TrenchWars.org. We try to get to every complaint there is, but just like in the real world that isn't always going to be possible. Look at the judicial systems in all of our countries. Not every case is looked at all in one day; it’s simply not possible to deal with all the cases at once.

So please cut the staffers, who volunteer their free time, some slack. We try to do good for the TW Community, we take care of your help and cheater calls, we take care of your base calls, we try to host the events you ask of us, we try.

1) Ofcourse, some staffers try to better serve the SSCU TrenchWars Community. I never said EVERY staffer is useless, but there are too many rotten eggs in staff. Who just don't follow the rules, who abuse their powers and who are completely useless. For example if you take the rule about "no personal attacks" ... People on the forums get banned and their thread gets closed as soon as they say the truth about a Staffer. But if that staffer than replies to that person, and calls HIM bad things, it's no problem.... Doesn't make sense.

2) Don't act like you're Jezus or something please.

3) You don't want to play against cheaters... That's normal, but the mods also just warn/ban people who just are better than them and are beating them. Just give them a warning or ban for cheating and the Mod feels big again. Doesn't make sense .. Seen it before in DD's for example. Someone is putting on an ownage round, and than just gets banned for cheating.
I have my own example aswell .. I was playing ?go base, and I got an University connection which just is crap and spikes from time to time. So suddenly I lagspike, so I just fly into the FR and reappear inside of it. People cry like they're gonna die IRL. A Moderator enters the arena and I'm disconnected from the server. Got banned for "LAGCHEATING". So the Mod wasn't even in the arena, I lagspiked with my uni connection, and he just bans me. Thought a Moderator had to see it himself to make judgements ...

4) You have lives ? If you do, you shouldn't be staff. And if you do, you shouldn't be online and be AFK 24/7 than. You just see 30 staffers online and when you do a ?cheater /?help call nobody responses. And than you say that Staff is there to "Help the community by taking on the cheaters". It's obvious that most of the staffers just don't react on the calls as they're too bored for it. Yeh yeh yeh .. Not all of them, but most though.

5) Don't warn and ban for unexisting reasons. Like yesterday ... lols ... I was in a pub, and someone was TeamKilling all the time. So I thought "let's help the Zone some because the Staffers are too busy anyways." So I typed to that guy "Please quit TeamKilling. This is illegal in SSCU TrenchWars, and if you continue doing so it will result in a ban from this zone."
Suddenly IIIIIIIII get a warning for "Impersonating staff". I haven't said that I was the one doing the ban .. I just said it was illegal. So that's what you get for helping staff huh ...
Than the funniest warning I got yesterday too, was for TeamKilling. I sit in a safe, a friendly lev flies in and I fly out. He turns around and TeamKills me. I return with my jav and shoot a bomb into the Safe. The lev was INSIDE the safe so as we all know you can not get killed or kill inside. So ofcourse he didn't die. But he did come out again and shot me again. Suddenly I get a warning for TeamKilling..... I didn't TK ! I just shoot into a safe... wtf .. abuse ?

6) Wrote an email yesterday. But I do not believe it will get answered or even looked in... so please amaze me and reply on it.

7) Don't volunteer your free time if you're not planning on doing it correctly and with passion. Than just stay a normal player and save the zone from shit like this.

I wouldn't put my faith in some elim kids or anyone that wants run their mouths off about Staffer X. They're posting their opinion on here Anduril, nothing is pure fact. We're not asking you to keep quite or not say shit about staffers, just follow the forum rules and follow the protocol cocerning these kind of issues.

You probably were being watched by a Mod, it's not like you know all of their names. A Sysop could also have been alerted to your lagging/cheating and watching elsewhere.

We need more Mods right now during late hours and ER or ZH may take them if needed. We still have Mods online to take those calls and again, my best answer is that they did not make them selves know to you while taking the call.

All of this can be covered under "Keep it private". If you want something done about it then DONT post it here and I find it hard to believe someone with that much shit to deal with about staff wasn't looking for it.
