The Weasle is quite nice now, with it being quite an efficient fighter instead of just a Cloaker... i have tried it out for about 10mins without cloak on and it is quite a good basing ship now

it was good for uncloaked basing before, imo it was better before with the spread bullets

I love the weasel its a mix between old school settings and new settings with a nice twist. Its like coke with lime, but actually good.

i like the changes to the lev from what i seen so far.

A few tweaks i think might make it more practical would be to speed up shrap a bit and either reduce shrap to about 1/2 its number or make it L1 and increase the speed a bit more.

The increase in speed and rotation rate are pretty good to still give it a handicap in dodging and aming while not making it useless withought being attached.

The splash damage is great, i could kill through a wall if enemy had low energy but tking is reduced loads.

The bullets are funny and multifire is comical but that is ok as you wouldn't want the ship overpowered.

i played lev a bit to test it out , it was good defensive ship in base and has alot of interesting posibilities now. In mid it is easy to kill with spiders so that is good too.

I haven't seen ppl domintate base with them yet , but there could be a few campy shots that will creat an almost permant wall of shrap stopping ppl getting into base but sharks should be able to rep it easy.



Now we just need to make javs need a low bty to attach so the pubs aren't all javs attaching rocketing and dying and repeating the cycle. Though if this levi is introduced i think some javs will switch to it as its fun it can be fun in base.

-I think the shrap lasts too long. With that much shrap moving so slowly over such a wide area, it takes up too much space that enemy ships cannot fly through. In flag room battles, this makes the levi far too strong, and it favours the defenders too much as the defence is far more likely to have more levis in there than the attackers.

This is one of the things I like about the new lev, you can sort of make a temporary mine-field to mark your territory.

Like bricks but they move and can be repelled away.



So far, I like this one a lot. It's still very much slower than the other ships, but it moves! Nice work ari and whoever else thought of it!

I really like this new Lev. It has now become an inbase ship. I like how you can use the shrap as a temperary shield or create a tempary mine field within a tunnel all at a safe distance.

If it ain't broke, don't fix it

For years, all was well in the Universe. Now it seems things change just to change. If you must tinker with things, then have different pubs with different settings. You should have already figured out that a great number of people only play the levi-less pubs, like I do.
The game was pure the way it was. Someone decided to jack with the ships back when they reduced the size of the weasle. Now, every few months or less, someone putzs around with another setting.
As Paul McCartney said, "Let it be, let it be, Let it be, let it be. With the words of wisdom, let it be..."

Irish, you're saying we should stop progress? Are you saying that tw's settings are PERFECT and there's nothing worth changing?

I like the new lev, it's mostly useless for serious basing because it's still 20 bty for attaching, but it's HUGE improvement over the old one. Apparently staff really does listen to people after all?

You know, I think the only problem with the new Lev is how long the shrap stays. Which is good -- until you get SEVERAL levs. I say increase speed and reduce their lasting time proportionally(so the radius is the same). I think this would allow more chances for enemies to get through while still being potent.

This new levi is nice, but in organized basing it couldn't compete with fighter ships. With 3 repels you could combined limit it together with the shark. You can only have 2 sharks/levis. Get rid of the attachbounty, it's not that powerful now anyway.

Well .. Just delete the lev totally or keep it the way it was.

Even tho you changed levi setting, it would be nice if it could be removed from pub arena with timed matches and also remove private freqs from there. -_-
