TWDev is really just a support group for event devs. It does have a somewhat exclusive membership, as it gives aspiring devvers something to strive for. As far as the TWDev vs. another dev group is concerned, it seems like a non-issue.

My take on it as a former dev leader is hey, the more that are devving, the better. If others want to create maps and use a name, have a chat, etc., I don't see it as a problem. Couldn't really be anything but a good thing, to see TW having a greater influx of maps and bots, to tell you the truth.

Perhaps it will not be as "credible" or have the same connections, but a group of this sort can only help the entire zone. There may be hard feelings on both sides of the fence here, but there's no reason to discredit or dissuade anyone from adding to the zone. MapCo isn't a challenge to TWDev as an establishment. It's just another avenue that devvers can take to contribute.

And yes it's not MapCo vs TWDev... i mean maybe we could even help eachother out, or maybe not. But at the end of the day, we're doing the same thing, making maps/events.

I just hope we get some form of map uploader so we can start getting a few maps up to see how they go.
