I think every ship should have x radar. Or actually x should be removed altogether. Not just so that javs could roof, because I think roofing should be prevented too. For example putting a bot there automatically banning people who go roof. (Or just put some blocks in their way.)

Interesting...however if you get rid of ways to access the roof, you may as well do that for anything below the base. All spawing should be done within the base and you should be limited on how you can fly in the base itself. Perhaps if you touch the wall you get spec'd for 5 minutes. If you do it more than 3 times within an hour you should be banned for 3 days. Possibly make a bot that kicks people from the server for saying gg, gj, ns, mb, noob or sry.

Yes this is pure sarcasm on my part, yet I think Kuukunen was serious. It only turned into a bad thread after I read his ban the roof cooment. I love the roof!!!

He or she who owns the roof, usually owns the flag...at least there is more action and fun than the spawn killers below the line under the base. These are just useless kills IMHO. Roof control has a purpose at least!

I like the new settings...guess I am one of a few, but my suggestion is to get rid of the stealth on a weasel. When play in a weasel, I could care less to stealth. Being that the size of the weasel is as small as it is, why do we need to stealth it anymore? every other ship is displayed, and if need be they thrust away from oncoming fire or simply dodge them....so why not make the playing field even and get rid of all stealth. If stealth was to remain for the weasel, I would recommend making it full size again.

Not many of the weasels I see in pub use there stealth capabilities....some do, but for the most part I see alot that do not.

I agree, i myself try to get ppl to not use stealth... :greedy:
when a x uses stealth it gets weak, when it doesnt it's a runner that still can kill by aiming snipe-shots at terrs... hell i've found it nice to go up to 120 bty with x without using stealth ^.^ then spids started hunting me and i died...but that's the game ;D

You could put doors and have the bot in that pub control doors. Thus, the roof could be closed in pure pub and not in the others.

A change in pub map would make many ppl happy. New tiles and stuff are fairly common nowadays in diff zones ... I don't see why TW can't follow the trend (I think it's a good trend ... others may disagree).

you wanna know what i say? i say let it keep cloak, boost up it's energy to 1500+, and take away its stealth. that way it still serves its current role, but in a less lame way.

yea yea, Roofing is an important part in helping clear out the base a bit for the main push to enter that silly little hole.

And I agree, bring back the xradar for javs. It's annoying to loose my 200 bty as a jav to some x prick who doesnt like it. Only way for me to detect x is to see it come out of the base on the radar.
