E=mine
F=repel
Q=rocket
Z=Burst
Use the num-pad 0 as your insert (Just turn num-lock off and it acts as an insert key)

Set those as your defaults and you'll go far!

ehm been so long since i had defaults i cant remember all i changed

but i think i might have the crappest set of keys in tw mainly cuase i refused the msg key and attempted to revolve an all ship system with non letter keys that i change once in a while after i get bored.

rep= Capslock (stole someone esles idea for that)
mine= tab
bomb= Alt
shot= Ctrl
thrust= Shift
burst= End
Lay port=shift+ins
warp=ins
rocket= page down

you guys are just mad mad mad, no wonder there are only the occasional saine ppl on ss, i mean i use \ as burst and key 233(`) as attach but changing the rest seem god dam insane or hands off to the photographic memory or you have a post stick note on your monitor

Hmm... I never noticed that whole push-to-type thing there before. I've been using the same, default keys for so many years, it'd just screw me up to change them.

I used defaults for my first year or so, then I changed my repel key when Rion. taught me the thrust shot. I also changed my mine key once I took up sharking. Everything else is default.
