I probably dont need to say it, but will anyway. Staff doesnt control coders and they cant come to them with projects and say 'do it now', especially if its not a project the coder agrees on. It seems no one really appreciates their work or what they do for the zone I guess, which is sad. But really a major factor in this is also the fact that probably everyone was whining at Ikrit about the bots being down (players, I mean), and he didnt have access to fix the problem. I probably also imagine a few 'ur useless' comments thrown in there, too to keep his spirits at an all time high about giving back to the game.

It's not just bot people that they do it to.

I don't know who or what bought this about, so I'm not going to attempt to persuade you to reconsider your decision if the situation is that dire. My recent understanding was that you would soon be allowed to fulfill that dream of yours, but I suppose there have been changes since.
All I know for certain is whoever pissed you off is going to bear the consequences of your departure. And with no one to immediately fill your shoes, the zone takes yet another step toward being permanently fucked.
