Pub Map Voting

Hello fellow TW'ers.

I want to know how many of you want a new pub map.
We increased the Max. players to 40 as you all know.
We need a bigger base map for that to be comfortable.
As in, not to be "boring", we could do Weekend testings.
We took 3 Bases to the test and I want you guys to check them out before voting.

- ?go Greenbase

Arilou did a great job with the pub map we have now but i agree with you 100% of the way, the pub has been increased to 40 and are now overcrowded. Playing in mid base is a bigger pain then ever. We been playing in the same base for years and is becoming ever so boring that when most of us come on, we look foward more to the hosted event games. Its been years since we had a map change and i think its in order for a new one. Lets test these maps out on an upcoming weekend and vote on which map we want. Right now i vote for Elitebase. Lets retire are old pub map, its time has come and gone My vote - YES 100%

I have to say keep the current pub map for now though coz those 3 suggestions are awful.

did u see elitebase, that map is sick, and what you talking about, the map is designed the same way as pub, only difference is "bing" bigger map :/

I repeat pub map = over 6 years old one of the reasons alot of the older players don't pub much is that it is boring and when you are new to the zone and you get lamed by mass javs or cloaks constantly you go elswhere

and there should be a competition with map submissions that will allow ppl to make a broader decision not "these 3 or old".

First of all, it is good that you are considering to change the public map. However, none of those three are good. All of them need more or less tweaking and they all have horrible tilesets. Greenbase is perhaps the only one worth trying.

I am not going to vote, as the option that I would vote is missing (change the map, but to none of these three).

Agreed, greenbase is the only one of the 3 with a decent-ish tileset. Elitebase is by far the worst of the 3; ugly as sin.

If anything should be seriously considered it should be a map built from scratch.

But again, there is nothing wrong with the current map apart from it being old and needing the tileset improving.
