yeah its pretty sad to see all these "new" players who are good with the cramming map having serious problem adapting to this new map and not even giving it a chance.

The quality of the latest games have been so poor cos we have stupid players with no ability to adapt whatsoever and who are totally clueless on what to do and how to play. Its almost like they know they can only cram so if they want to remain on their current level they refuse to try this one.

Set your egos aside and do whats best for the game. Is this the best map for basing in tw? Well I dont know about that but I do fucking know that a test for a week with a new map wont be the end of the world and if it can get more people involved in basing or just make it more fun and interesting for the players we have now, then it is GOOD. I wouldnt mind seeing some more suggestions tested in ?go base.

personally, i don't think line takes more skill than cram. i also don't think cram has taken all the fun out of base. i've been playing this game almost six years and the base has never changed. i'm not bored of it, in fact, i love it. this is why i don't like the change. i remember the old days when everyone used to line, and personally i think we're better off today. i'm open for change of course, but i prefer the old style compared to what this base brings.

EDIT: also.. the new map doesn't seem to be bringing new people to basing

Well, everyone hates the map because "aim down and hold fire" doesn't work very well in it.

I don't think this particular map is great, but its a step in the right direction.

You never fail to make posts in support of cramming and 5-spider-limits because you think that's what will give BasingCrew a TWLB win. Well, BasingCrew has been around for what, 2 or 3 TWL seasons and has yet to have any success as far as getting a title goes. Maybe it's time for a change. BasingCrew does have some very good spiders who can do more than shoot downwards... you're just too ignorant to see it.
