Speaking out of own experience:
I joined staff super-eager to make changes, support the zone by hosting and being superman.
I burnt out fast as hell, so does most of the other ER's. The ones who doesn't get burnt out due to being mentaly insane (Gazer, Lefty, Wark) is those who gets the credit of being good hosters, and rightfully so.
I honestly dont know what it should take to prevent hosts from burning out too fast.
There's times when I want to tell Kim and Pred that I'm back to being superactive on staff again, and host like hell and help the zone. But it just doesn't tempt me enough, and for that I honestly am sorry.
I've spoken to other ER's in the past about this, and I know I'm not the only one.
It's up to the population of the zone, to find the ones like gazer, and get them in the heat fast enough to find out if they'll burn out or keep going.
All you need to join staff as an ER is a true heart for hosting, not for power, and a good attitude. (Hell, even PH is staff now, we're looking past quality <3)Da1andonly> man this youghurt only made me angry
