lazy staff

So I am in wbduel with 17 fellow duelers and we are waiting for staff to come and start...
do a eventbot request and wait around a minute.. no one comes.
do a ?help call, wait around a minute and no one comes.
do another ?help call and get a spam message from lefteye telling me to use eventbot... finally pureownage arrives.

Finish that round and so go to start another..
do a eventbot request and wait around a minute.. no one comes.
do a ?help call and wait, however by now people have had enough of lazy staff and have left. and once again wbduel is dead.

And this is not an isolated incident. Happens all the time.

I dont know what the staff dynamics are concerning who's responsibility wbduel is. However it seems it is put on lowerstaff and if their is no lower staff available then the upperstaff dont give a shit... it takes 2 seconds to start wbduel. So please, for the sake of the zone, get off your ego-inflated ass' and help us out.

Most people wont sit around in a stagnant arena for longer than a couple of minutes. Waiting for staff that are too busy.. er.. umm.. scratchin their balls?

By the way Tagmor, the way it works now is that you use EventBot to request for wbduel/javduel/base and a staff member will follow up if one's available. If EventBot doesnt work after a min, do a ?help call (But make sure you use the EventBot first).

Thank you for bringing this problem to staff's attention.
I've also noticed less activity on staff to start the base/wbduel/javduel/spidduel games.
I will try to give more attention to this, encouraging staff members to make sure base/wbduel/javduel requests are taken.

On the other hand, don't be afraid to use EventBot to ask for staff's attention to start games. As you may have noticed, staff isn't always around checking if such games have finished so we need to be alerted if a restart is required.
If you feel EventBot requests are ignored, it won't be a problem to use ?help. Please try using EventBot first though.

Please PM me if you have any further concerns that you feel need to be solved ASAP.

Personally I prefer the old way of starting wbduel,javduel,base. I think adding eventbot makes it overly complicated. Eventbot should be kept for hosted events and not for starting normal games. This is of course just my opinion
