Do You Duel in ?go Duel, Think Twice

How doesn't that make sense? We were dueling in ?go duel, if you don't know how to read i can spell it out for you. Rudy comes in out of no where says " Rudy> Fix it, don't ignore it", then all of the sudden s4j3n is gone... sajen tries to relog into trenchwars, all it says is you do not have permission to access the zone, with no ban id. So rudy used *kill, also i don't think it was even logged in bot chat either, oh no other staff was on so he now gets away with more abuse!

I am sure that Rudy did the most appropriate thing he could think of at the time in enforcing TW rules.

A little "for your information"; if you get kicked out of the zone by *kill, you are able to relogin immediately after the kick.

If you can't login after being disconnected and no ban-id is shown to you then it's almost sure that you are being blocked by automatic server security (aka the server automatically kicked you off for some errors you gave).

I remember this in chat, and isnt there a *kill # and can be killed for a certain amount of time, s4j3n was in eg and from what he was saying he was able to see the zone in green but wouldnt let him enter.

Also stated that, while dueling his lag was within normal limits, and i believe he was dueling aorta. Then all of a sudden he got booted, when rudy had entered arena. I wouldnt know why someone would get *killed just for being in ?go duel. That being said I miss s4j3n

Oh true, forgot about that. There still is *kill <minutes> but I believe it gives you some kind of message if you try to login (not sure though).

I remember seeing him in ?go duel many times and even dueled him few times, and if got banned by something there that he doesn't even know what is, I would also like to know...

Yeah, they wrote this thread as "bashing Rudy", but the question remain, why he got banned/kicked for?

as long as ive know s4j3n hes been a pretty nice guy, even during his hardships while he was staff, i know he was definately one of the most honest ones at the time. Just seems like an ex-staff getting kicked while in duel for nothing he did specifically wouldnt make since. He knows the rules, and i dont remember him being ever banned before...so just seems if this guy didnt have bad luck he would have none at all.

You were duelling him at the time, Aorta. Did you not see him teleporting short distances all over the map, instantaneously changing direction, and tanking dead on shots while exploding against misses?

Yes I killed him for an hour because reconnecting was not fixing his severe timer synch problem. Coincidentally there is a bug whereby a *kill command sometimes doesn't expire as it should and kept going up until I removed it after I returned from work. I do not see this as a huge problem because no moderator in any zone in their right mind would allow him to play in such conditions. In all likelyhood, taking such horrible tinfo to another zone and attempting to play may have resulted in him being mistakenly netbanned for speed hacking. At best he would have been allowed to sit in spectator until his issue was resolved, and you can always do that in another zone.

rudy you have seemed like a nice guy, but lately ive been bewildered by some of the actions taken.

For instance did you let s4 know he was being killed for 1 hour? and why not just *kill the game, or spec him? Ive seen people lag worst then your describing but i dont see them *killed. Since aorta was dueling him did he even have a problem with it (like a ?cheater call) because if not it seemed like you were trying to kill a bug with a hand grenade...
