changed most of the ship designs and colors, got sick of it and changed them back... that ship rotator does a number on the quality of the design.

best one was changing the mine graphics: did a bit of random yellow to red for lvl 1's, yellow to brown for lvl 2's, blue to purple for lvl 3's. done so they don't follow a specific pattern, but kinda spiral so that it looks like the stars from Van Gough's "Starry Night".

Seriously, new moderators are only chosen a few times a year, and the minimum requirements for applying are very steep. Even so, hundreds apply, but only a few are selected. If you seriously want to be a moderator, you'll need to be an active, contributing user for well over a few months to even be considered. Pestering the current moderators or administrators to become a moderator essentially guarantees that you won't be selected.

My keydefs are all sorts of fucked up mostly because my down key fell off, as a sample: up=I down=k left/right=J/L Port=shift+x/x Burst=z Fire=Command button
Avoid page clipping and what not
Bare graphics (no background, no rolling ships, no thrust)
No sound because ... I dunno why, Fusion doesn't like Continuum bongs

Overall: My settings/laptop situation make me play shittier than I already am.

Big Bullets and more visible trails. wb bullet coloured white. Jav bullets bright yellow. Jav bomb changes to a much darker red after it's bounced.
Originally the keydef layout was me attempting to find something that worked mainly for wb/jav/shark/terr all at once, keeping things simple and close together to avoid having to move around the keyboard or look down.

I play 256 colors, since i installed xp onto this 98 laptop, it's video card can't accept simple spaceships, so i have to play 256 colors. It's not that bad once you get used to it.

Oh yeah, watevs standard res, windowed.

do you use a macbook? i've tried playing ss on mine, but i've had spike issues so i couldn't stay in twd matches. give me hints if you have any!
