I actually agree with you Revolt. We need to keep the lower ranks (Event Refs) more clean and also need to seek more consultation with our current staffers on new hires. While it's not my job to look after the ERs I think the focus has to be on longevity, we need people who are not going to fuck things up tomorrow. We need them in the long term for league games and special events. We also need people who could potentially be useful as Moderators and in Upper Staff positions. Sub-Arena events may be fun but I believe people are more into TWD squading, TWL, Draft League, BWC ect...

This "Everyone can host" idea is terrible to be frank. Sure, more people can host, therefore it's great for all the dudes who never got picked for the real staff. If you ask me as a former mod, staff before was sort of a secret police force that people yearned to become part of and knew nothing about, thereby making it "cool". Now...its simply a community run country club that happens to have some powers. With this tremendous increase in hosters will come a HUGE increase in abusing, along with TERRIBLY hosted events, as well as people who should never be given authority within this zone.

Feel free to attempt and rip into me for this post, but I know there are those of you guys that have been staff before this change who agree. The luster of staff is officially gone...the aura of being staff is reduced to simply a b*tch work job to be done by all.

Wark was the best rehire staff could have made. Congrats Wark! You newbie hosts can learn something from the master. Scoop was a good ER to, it's nice 2 see him back. PH and Wark should liven things up a bit.....

in my opinion something like this needed to be done as staff was stagnating and moving backwards

hopefully this will reveal some good new staff that otherwise wouldn’t have had the opportunity and make staff less like an old boys club and more about serving the community.

And if not well at least it will be fun to see some of the older ER’s coming back to host once in a while for some nostalgia :wub:

Thats probably the one thing I would qualify for, but Kolar and cops would hate on me for that too. All in all, I'm intrigued to see where this goes. Good luck with it
