Ikrit quit. Then came back Then went insane and abused. You had to be on staff ( i happened to be a 12 hours old <ZH> when he did what he did)

I personally think the idea of 1 'elected staffer' is impossible to have. Then it becomes a popularity contest rather than finding an appropriate player to fill the position. No offense to those mentioned... But honestly do we want a Vys, lizard fuel or ignite voted (or bought) into staff? They are unsuitable for such a position and could really hurt the zone. If such a player existed would not the deans have searched them out and brought them to the staff level already? Well its just my 2 cents.

Vys no because he is a cheater.
Lizard Fuel no because I am an egotistical asshole.
Ignite no because he would quit going to school and pay people to be racist so he can ban them

Nonetheless, the above mentioned people would better serve the community (and have on more than one occasion) than you, Tyler, TranceTunes, Charis, Flion, bete noire and countless others, all put together as 1 giant clusterfuck of ugly staff nerds. I'd say give an election a shot, and if somebody like vys, me or Ignite gets "elected" then just vito that shit and say "We tried". some players get overlooked, like kahlan for instance, was he not made staff until he was 2 seconds from quitting? Sometimes you can be a great helper, and staff may not notice because your not in their inner circle of friends or squads.

Banning people for lag-cheating is based upon assumption. Someone has to make the call but a lot of the time it is just going to be plainly incorrect and that needs to be acknowledged.
