further implies an abstract time or quantity, whereas farther implies a measurable distance, or even a vague distance.

At least allow 1440x900 in ?go base too since it's allowed in pub already. It would make a lot of people happy.

1280x1024 is still more than 1440x900 so how would that be unfair? I'm currently stuck on a distorted view because of the limitations.

buy yourself a better monitor that can support 1280x1078 along with higher res widescreen

almost all do now, so all of you that are bitching about "we have higher technology now that is widescreen we need higher widescreen res" well then go complain because your technology must be old now when most monitors do both

duhhh ofcourse it can support regular res and the 1440x900 is just the res allowed in pubs not the max res :P

Widescreens aren't "higher tech" they're just way cheaper 'cause the method of cutting them wastes less panel.

Using normal resolutions on a widesceen monitor is a pain in the ass because of the aspect ratio.

I agree, this sucks. Disoblige makes me play TWD when i'm on small res. My widescreen laptop likes the 1440x900 res..

if it was 1680x1050 i might actually play again. the distorted view makes it look atari-ish and makes the monitors freak out and mix themselves up so every time i close it i have to re-apply my nView settings.
