Im against this especially viewing items and energy from spec. Watching my energy will show people how i dodge and i dont want that leaking out. Also i use greens to bluff the enemy in twdd. Id make out ive got a fc so they back off. Thats why staff are here. They have the power to see this if they believe someone is cheating. I had to get good on my own, no one helped me. Just leave it how it is.

Teammates wouldn't be able to tell opponents in that split second after you got the green and then faked whether or not it was a FC.

Players like Mythril have spent months trying to learn my rush, Fieryfire has many a time asked me to teach him my unique backwards thrust shot, while others like Hercules still can't figure out how I can conserve energy in evasive and/or outnumbered running scenarios so well that when it seems I have no energy I actually have full.

The shitty players are much tougher on the forums, mainly because they hide behind a name instead of a ship.

About the horrible rushing these days, most of those newbies depend on the rushed target with full energy to miss, then go in for the kill. It's mainly what shitsand used to do. It was way better before when rushing actually was timed.

Oh, and I support the energy view from spec, it'll be great if it's implemted.

The only time I see this as a hinderance is in TWBD where you can know when the enemy terrier has equipment and where/when he lays his ports.

Not sure if anyone has mentioned this since I havent read it, but...

It's fixable. I'm not sure if the seeing energy levels from spec is a zone wide change (most likely it will vary from arena to arena). But even if it is, then you can simply lay an *objon over the selected areas for only spectators (the bot can do this by simply *objoff'ing when they are placed in their ships).

I don't have much to say on this topic at the moment, theirs lots of ups and downs with enabling energy viewing / items.

Although, the !lag <player> wouldn't be too bad of an idea, it just means you can all whinge more at my Aussie lag! n_n

Enable it in everything except TWLB and TWBD.

If you're truely good in wb you aren't gonna get owned by some newbies who have learned how to use their energy properly. Plus, more competition can't hurt...this zone getting increasingly boring .
