embedded youtube videos

what's the rationale for not allowing them on the forum?

they don't automatically play when you embed them, so i don't really see why they wouldn't be allowed. it's just really convenient to play them on the forum instead of having to click the link and going to youtube.

Only problem I predict will be mass postings of YouTube vids one after the other with no content, just embedded video's. Odd thing is, I would say about 70% of the YouTube vid's are infringing on copywrites of artists if it is a music vid being used.

I honestly could care less about vid posting, but there should be a limit to a post. I personally will not sit there and watch/moderate every video post, so if it has Porn or other crap in this format, so be it for all ages to watch.

This also would do away with the rule for bandwidth leaching?

In fact the forum rules should just be revamped all together.
