i believe (and correct me if i'm wrong here) that fieryfire's youtube account is tied into some advertising whereby the more subscriptions he earns, the more real (not fake space cash) money we get to put toward the zone.

i'm at work so youtube is blocked and i can't check, but it's probably just banner advertising or something similar, the kinds of ads that anyone who's been using the internet for any time at all is already accustomed to utterly ignoring.

Wrong. The foundation that is sponsoring us is a foundation that supports charity organizations that don't get much attention. In an effort to get more attention to these charities, they are working with FieryFire to promote those charities through our community.

During the cash events, we'll have 100+ people. At that point FieryFire will tell everyone about the "Charity of the week", in hopes that someone will donate to that cause. No banner ads as of yet.

That's pretty much the gist of it...
