Please elaborate on this L4 purple bomb of yours. The only purple bomb i've seen is a thor, which is even pink and purple. And if your protip is still a protip, please elaborate on these L4 purple mines as well.

He's talking when a lev buys "superlev", your L2 bomb is upgraded to L3 but your L3 is purple instead of blue (by using a .lvz).

Staff don't know much about the game..

In the past i would ask questions on ?help about bugs or things in the game that not many people know.


They never knew the asnwers and i would have fun with that.Sometimes they would discuss about it on the staff chat with many staffers and then give me the WRONG awnser. But we have to understand that. A Staff member or maybe even a group of staffers isnt obligated to know as much as some NERDS like me, or you, Xog (nerd and gay)... Their job is to help the new players. The newbies...

If staff only did recruit people with the knowledge we want them to have, there would be no staff at all

Unfortunately tought, sometimes their lack of knowledge interfers in their job.
Someday I was netbanned bcz i was in the arena ?go zone51 buying things (?buy) outside the safe. Staff tought something like that was impossible and that i was cheating.

"Is it possible to make wrong goals?" (yes it is, on the yellow goals)
"Is the spectator freq pair or odd?" (theres a way to discover it)
"Is it possible to stop the ship completely once moved without being on safe,warping, etc?" (yes it is)
"how to discover how many hours someone is online?" (find command)
"why close levs bombs dont kill? why sometimes people eat shark mines and its not lag?" (damage transfer)

only time you get L4 bombs is if settings are configured properly and you're holding a warzone (non-turf) flag or powerball

When you pick up a flag (not touch it like in TW) or powerball, there is an arena setting to increase your bomb and bullet level. You can only gain L4 bullets/bombs/mines IF you are carrying a flag. This cannot be done in TW Pub (Except places like ?go zone66, ?go warzone, etc), so they decided to switch the graphics around to make it look cooler.

And if your protip is still a protip, please elaborate on these L4 purple mines as well.

As for the mines, your ship will always lay the corresponding bomb level as your mine. So, if you have a level 1 bomb (red) (shark/jav), you will lay a level 1 mine (red). If it's level 4 (purple), then you lay a level 4 (purple). Javs have mines disabled, which is evident in the bomb level indicator on the right-hand side (they have different graphics).

In a normal zone:
If you have L1 bombs and you pick up a flag (or powerball), you will now have L2 bombs.
If you have L2 bombs and you pick up a flag (or powerball), you will now have L3 bombs.

This is all until you lose or drop the flags.

Um no, we just decided not to

Asking two bot dev if they know is kinda funny, thats like them asking you if you know how to add a command on Pub-bot in java. You cant expect every single person on staff to know every possible answer to every single question even if the ? is ez to you, But I'm sure someone on staff will know the answer. There might of not been one online at the time you did the call tho. Maybe if you said yellow bomb or red bomb that might of helped lol. ;D.

Not that this thread isn't informative for some people but I think you could of thought of a better way to bring the subject up.
