    Constructive Criticism

    Hey there!

    It looks like you're enjoying SSCU Trench Wars Forums but haven't created an account yet. Why not take a minute to register for your own free account now? As a member you get free access to all of our forums and posts plus the ability to post your own messages, communicate directly with other members and much more. Register now!

    To fully access your account after registering, please log into the Continuum game (Download game here if needed!) and make your way to ?go twd and PM Forum Bot with !activate. If your name does not match the registered name on forums, you may use !activate forum name:forum password

    Once again, normally I would just contact one of you in game, but I can't log in for the time being.

    I was browsing as a guest on my girlfriends computer and got that message. Good idea, just not written very well. For one, I'm fairly certain we haven't been using forumbot for ages. Second, if you are having people download the game for the first time, they are not going to know what "?go twd" means or how to PM anybody/anything. Perhaps include a message to type "?help" to get somebody to help them set up their account, or a FAQ on how to set up your forum account. Its really not that big of a deal, I'm just itching to be productive since I can't log in. If I'm just wasting valuable forum space, feel free to delete this.

    This was the original plan before the new theme was up, M_M God and Myself asked HMS to re-configure it not to use forumbot as he said (I think) that he was the one who made it like that. Maybe Jason will know how to reconfigure it. We used ForumBot because of the spam on the forums.

      Why not add ppl from TW to help with that? It's a great idea but would need real ppl to help u with stuff like setting u up your account and others. I personally would prefer a human being to help me set everything up rather than a bot if I was new. The same could be done with the in-game commands and settings as well. This way the ZH's would have a little less to worry about and normal ppl without ZH or ER status could prove themselves worthy in game with helping others out. Maybe for a small reward or something. Just a thought.

        ZHs would have a little less to worry about? lmfao..... We don't have any responsibility as it is. Why take away one of the ez tasks of a ZH. The bots are only there for registration - they don't talk you through it or do anything. I've helped many people register with TWD or ForumBot. People ask for ?help and a PERSON helps them. Shocking eh?

        It's not rocket science and if any ZH thinks this is too much for them to handle they should quit staff immediately.

        As for "regular people helping" ... you should do that anyway when you see someone ask a question in a chat. If you are helpful in the game; others do notice that. You don't need extra motivation from Staff to help people; it should come naturally if you are indeed a helpful person.

            Yes, That was the reason for it.

            It guaranteed the stop of spambots making a bazillion accounts.

            We can fix that now with no trouble.

              i would want newbs to know how to play the game before they sign up for the forums

                and yes, the smart ones (the ones below the ones smart enough to register alone) would ask a ZH for help
                and im sure the ZHs would appreciate having something to do

                  i'm fucked up

                  really really reallllllllllly out of it

                  but i'm pretty damn sure i can fix this sometime tomorrow after the inevitable hangover clears up
