Well Boobs CE does throw errors as most other memory alteration does. However, manipulating your connection quality can in no way be tracked unless staffs decide to not just go by numbers and automated systems but actually start watching again and decide based on what they see.

Little info for Adman: DSL/Cable/Fiber generally has higher speeds but worse ping times than dialup due to technical reasons, read up on it online for more info.

So you know what my introduction to TW was in 1999 or 2000 my friend? Having Sirius. use cheats 24/7 alongside mods and staff. Thats how I remember when I first started playing this game.

I'd probably have donated $15,000 to this game thats one good casino trip for me ( I think my net gains in 2011 when i stopped going that year was $105,000 on blackjack).. but i could never forgive upper staff or mods for letting this go on so long even to this day lol. Im not using this info as a bribe or anything, i just had to bring it up because im just saying as an example you guys will lose more in the long run by alienating players trust and keeping these things secret to please your BFF's or just being outright ignorant and stupid to these abuses while your fellow mods use them.

In the end, TW is a free to play, small community game, with like 800 players or whatever in total. Im not gonna start up this debate again its just not worth it. But be warned, ur stupid antics have consequences and hurt the cause IMO.

So in the end, im not looking for changes that will never happen.

CE and other similarly situated programs were used for years, unblocked by staff/mods obviously. Are errors given for some programs and not others? Dont know, frankly i dont really care either. Im sure they do. Im not a tech genius, but i dont need to be to see cheating. If it looks like a duck, walks like a duck, sounds like a duck.. its a duck. We dont need DNA tests on that duck lol. 2000 pings nor 50% ploss can cause some of the things that are evident.

Couple that with the fact that mods used and/or were complicit with it in the past, many many years, and any idiot can spot it a mile away.. i dont think debating the technical aspects of each program and what it does in relation to TW software is particularly relevant or useful unless we can understand all facets and thats impossible with unkown programs.

Either way, i dont really care i just thought id bring it up since i saw it in the real money tourney on a few people. It was ignored for years, this is on record and factual. It was proven and admitted it was going on for years.

And yeah, some of the stuff cant be "Tracked" via numbers and limits. But when you see a bullet leave a ship 2 seconds before it stops, in a 3% ploss limited arena, what possible numbers do you need? Or if a ship's rotation moves like 180 degrees in less than .00001 second then fires lol.

These issues predate to the origins of this game or shortly thereafter. They wont be leaving any time soon, i just thought id bring it up with the new attempt at league reinvigoration and the excellent job a few did at that so far it looks great.

I for one, don't know how people still lag in this game at all. The excuse of dialup is long gone. I played a few twd matches (javs and basing) and a deathmatch and with full direct hits people are still eating like the used to 10+ years ago.

What do staff and people smarted than me?

Lag should make you suck, not be better, like any other online game.

lag can do both, but usually lag makes you miss more your right. but sometimes it CAN work the opposite way.

dont focus on "lag" too much, there are limits in league arenas that are suppose to spec you at 3% or so i forget. if i go beyond 3% im specced in 5 seconds. Its NOT lag, and its been proven for a decade when some of these cheats were exposed to the community via leakers like the whole cheat engine saga. not that anyone needed it because it was so blatant anyway in many of these games.

lag doesnt do the things some of these things do anyway. and certainly most of these things look like 25% ploss. Its the result of adjusting your play via another program running on your desktop to alter the speed or movement etc.

it wont end. half of staff either know about it, used it for a decade, or just have their "besties from 98, BFF's" use it and laugh about it on vent. the other half of staff are just too stupid probably and/or are told its just lag from their co-staff's. if people hate staff, at least focus on the right reasons. being complicit and willing in the abuse to defraud people in leagues well i cant think of a better reason not some stupid crap people whine about sometimes about staff. what is more of a violation of trust that altering the game for some and not others in matches then claiming ignorance like we saw for a decade?

either way, im just straight up asking the very top staff. are you trying to get the leagues more active again so you can let 4 top squads abuse things as usual? if so, good luck at that. turn the other way and pretend it doesnt exist and let your BFF's keep ruining the leagues.

As someone that has played this game for 12-13 years I can instantly identify a cheat/abuse from an actual lag/connection issue. And its rampant again it appears from just my humble opinion and observation. Back from 99-06' or so, a lot of middle and lower staff used it as well, even some upper staff. But the top players (squads in the top 4 spots each year since 99') have used them blissfully as well.

A while ago it was called cheat engine, and other things. Now, theres little programs you can search google for that lets you adjust your rotation, speed or other abilities in open game programs. Im not even in the slightest really asking if they are being used, they ARE. The symptoms range from erratic rotation (particularly close up). Bullets leaving ship before ship stops on your screen. Abnormal "jumps" when that player thrusts. And many other symptoms that are NOT lag related.

One could try to claim its processor related (high speed processor versus older computers people play) but that makes no sense really either, the game is designed so simply that you'd only need a 99' processor to play it lol.

It IS happening, my question to top staff is are they once again going to be complicit in it, and occasionally use it as well? Are they going to harbor their friends who are in the very top guilds and have ties to the origins in this game? Are they going to allow it and use the "well cant prove it" nonsense, when its blissfully obvious, including among players like racka who used it without consquence for years and still do?

Im just saying if your going to do this again, then you might as well burn up the "ladder" on your website, and TWL because most people wont even give 2 sh1ts whose in top place its just the same recycled garbage in the top 4 squads again who abuse.

Maybe its time to move beyond your "cant prove it" or "they are my bestie since 98'" bullsh1t and actually make your leagues abuse free and ban the clear ones who anyone with even 25% of a functional brain can identify.

But then again, i doubt that will ever happen. Too many people running this game are the same as those using it. So, i guess just dont pussy around and claim reforms, because i for one wont believe it til i see it stop, and i havent since 2000 yet.

You need a badass in authority in this game, someone that wont take sh1t from friends, veterans, or even their fellow mods. They'll just do whats right regardless. Aint gonna happen in my lifetime lol.

So im just proposing this question to all the tech heads or general good staff who have been here since 2000 or earlier. Why is it some of the best teams in TWD (primarily) still seem to have some of the laggiest or most unstable connections?

Back in the day (and even up to several years ago), cheats, both obvious and discrete, were distributed, used and most likely are still used by the "top" players and even some staff.

Some of the prior perpetrators.. Racka, Sirius., and a lot of others. I mean lets face it, its not hard to find a cheat/speed hack online nowdays and use it in a 2-d game incapable of monitoring or tracking things or identifying slight alterations to speed or movement.

In the real-money tourny the other day I saw several people who appeared to be "under the influence" lets say. Common signs are when your ship "twitches" or your rotation is complete eratic particularly up close. The ever popular instant stop lag rush and bullet leaves ship before you stop and so on.


Clearly, cheats still exist in TWD. MY question is, is top and middle staff complicit in using them discretely (again) or not? Is the most upper staff aware of it?

Are cheats going on still or is it moreso the fact that super high fast processors people use now are making it look that way.

Truth is, ploss over 3% is suppose to boot you from matches ( i believe) but the symptoms of some people make it look like they have 15% ploss. Thus, Its not a lag enducing effect, and moreso a speed or movement abuse.

Any thoughts? Should i just leave it be and let the entire division and "top" players keep using them with staff being complicit in it again like from 99-05' and beyond?

If thats hows it going to be then dont bother bringing back the divisions if mods are gonna ignore the popular top players who abuse it again.

PS why is racka not under a microscope every time he plays? why hasnt he ever been banned for cheating lol (among others).
