Inactivity? I retired back in October and asked you to take over then. RL takes priority and I didn't have the motivation or time to worry about a game.

Why even be in the staff position if you can't take the risks of being the Sysop of the game? You clearly should've never even been given the position as you lack any communication with players in the community.

That said, the temporary surprises me, when I told MM that I wanted you to replace me, and when I spoke to you about it the idea was a perm replacement as there are very few staffers who have enough charisma, relationship with the zone etc to actually do anything positive.

Anyways only posted as I saw that inactivity nonsense I have retired and although I may pop on very occasionally if time allows, for the first time in 16 years it will be for my own enjoyment rather than worrying about 5 million drama's

Wish you all the luck Turb and truly hope you can do what many have so far failed at, to bring new life into the zone (oh and actually start spending some of the donation money).

Seems like if the game gets greenlit and pub is popping it would be a good time to reinvent #mythrandir.. always felt like I was a pro or was in the club or something when I would get the invite to come play base there, sure others feel the same and would feel the same... between my pub squad I)efenI)ers and #mythrandir... those were the reasons when I realized that the game was more than pub and that it was time to move on to better things.

Well, luckily we have been recruiting quite a few basers thanks to Geio, and tj. Mikkiz and wbm are sure to lead the charge in that respect. probably on my upcoming 4 days off I can help get more activitey in that division, as our warbird division, and jab division are looking quite solid in activety. I'm sure very soon now blind will be a 3 division league, and we are that much closer to leveling out in basing

i dont wanna make a big thing of it or make any promises but maybe we can start getting some ?go base games going, seems like an ideal time is weekdays 1-5pm CST. tj/mikkiz are definitely solid dudes to build a team around, geio is a solid spider, and wbm is just a swiss army knife of multiship talent. get a decent shark team and you'll be competitive. i always look at a basing line solely on the strength of the sharks, because for the most part spiders and terrs these days are pretty fucking good, and the big plays are usually carried out by a good shark with a quick mine or a well-timed repel. looking at TWD it looks like you recently had a very fun time playing against mr. PH, who basically developed his shark style by reading the Taliban field operations manual.

don't forget that a great way to help out is just showing up and playing trench wars. people ask questions in pub all the time and other players are usually the ones who answer questions (it helps when your screen isnt bleeding red from staff chat flooding), for every staffer that hosts an event you need at least 4 players who will show up even if it's just those 4 players. being active, playing pub, playing twd, etc - trench wars has been more enjoyable in the past month because there's shit to do, combination of post-twl slump and winter break and greenlighting increased the pop just a little bit but the difference is awesome.

i mean right now there are -two- squads that pretty much bd at least once every 2 days, which when i type it sounds really terrible but honestly it's been just so amazing. imagine if there were 3 or 4 squads holy fuck
