I dislike your idea only because it would allow people to set there spawn closer to base then others, and would gave an advantage to them if they are basing.

That really wouldn't work.. evan if you limit the spawn points.. and it would be very dificult to do in public because of server files, you'd need a bot who'd instantly warp you ever time you'd spawn... and the bot would have to keep a list of every player and have to check events every second. I just think it wouldn't work well.
I think it would also give a huge advantage to everyone who wanted to achieve a small goal.. for instance.. a lev would spawn near a safe and be greened in 30 seconds, warbirds from same team could camp in a specific location and respawn there...
when you spawn someone... he will spawn in same square.. so either you have to abuse the bot and each second change your coords, or you'd get spawn killed by same person over and over again.

If its spawning thats the problem, why not give all the pubs ( or at least some of them ) the anti-spawn system using in one of the basing arenas. I can't remember what its called , but there were lots of very tiny squares of safes outside base which made it almost impossible to be spawned. Name that arena!

what if capships were ur-quan dreadnoughts? it would look neat (dreadnought is my favourite ship in starcontrol series).

or then jav could be dreadnought(i guess same settings as before could go with this one)

what if there were arenas that would be all the time in basing mode. i guess they could be named like "publicbasing0", "publicbasing1"... , and there could be couple of them(they could have bots)

Ok, I know what your all thinking, why did I bother clicking on this thread? Prepare to be amazed.

What about an elim type bot in ?go raceing2 or any of those race arenas. Let people vote on a track/number of laps and race and maybe keep a little record on each person for !rank.
