    if you guys set up nockm for a huge 5 fer and he hits it, you guys get a huge advantage. but, if he misses it, you guys get fucked over and probably lose base

          The goal I think is to move basing in the direction of incooperating ALL the ships ... I don't mind if that means changing settings OR changing the basing map, but that's the general direction that I think basing should move towards.

            Just because a basing technique becomes dominant you wanna change the map? Yeah, I don't like cramming, but I don't think we should change the base. How about experimenting with whats availble and trying to break the cram, rather than changing it so it's not as affective. Honestly what kind of basers are you guys.

              my logic is more like. . .

              4 spiders = 1 terr, 2 sharks, 4 spids, 1 wb/jav/lanc

              lanc sucks, javs suck

              rand gets to play wb more in twlb

              and who DOESN'T want that?! (i know i sure as hell do)

                    But if the spiders, terr, other sharks, or other ships are good enough, it will. Cramming is not unstoppable.

                      I'd say that the perfect cram with no mistakes is unbreakable. But usually, someone makes a mistake that is big enough to screw up the cram.

                      I think that the best cramming team would beat the best team at breaking a cram if neither team made any fuckups.

                          I'm not to sure what you're trying to say here. Do you mean that a "perfect" cram would be unbreakable even to a "perfect" cram breaking team? If so I don't see how the cram would stand a chance against a team specially designed to beat it.

                            A cram is breakable, yes. Even for an AMAZINGLY MOTHERFUCKING PERFECTLY SKILLED SUPER TEAM OF DOOM, it takes awhile to break a cram. It takes too long. It's boring as all fucking hell. Sitting in my spider, pushing into a cram, or sitting in my shark, repping into a cram, or sitting in my jav, waiting for that right moment to bomb into a cram, or sitting in my terrier, waiting for my sharks and spiders and jav to push/rep/bomb into a cram makes me want to cry out of utter boredom. We ALL know we're sick to fucking death of the cram, with the exception of Spastic because they are shit without it. Limiting the number of spiders would drastically reduce the effectiveness of the cram and just might deter squads from using it so goddamn much. I, for one, am all sorts of behind this idea.

                            In closing, fuck the cram. Fuck it until it's raw and bloody. Fuck it into sheer oblivion.
