Was Trivia first invented as an arena in Trench Wars, or was it "ripped off" from somewhere else too?

It was originally in SSCE Trivia Zone, zone where even thogu hte whole game is based around spaceships, they used just the few lines of text in the bottom left of the screen

Actually, I was thinking more along the lines of games like Trivia Pursuit and others that predate Subspace. The point though was to address Dimboy's barbs about ripping off Acrophobia with the question "so?"

I think the ideas are good ones, I'd just be surprised if a lot of people wanted to play them in subspace when you could go and play Inklink or Acrophobia and get a better version.

Maybe there's a bigger draw to playing with the people from tw than I think.

Don't get me wrong, I prefer playing a game if my squaddies are in, that's why when we discovered inklink and acrophobia and gunbound, we played as a group until we were sick of them (I still play gunbound once in awhile, but I think I'm the only one).

TK has the idea. Acrophobia is one of those games you really can't rip off. It's like putting up a poker arena in TW and saying the idea was ripped off.
