Tips for newbies that want to get picked in ?go base

I rarely get picked in ?base so I stopped going in there. I guess people assume I only play WB's and dont base, but its always been my first passion in TW. Because the games take so long its also tough to wait until a new game starts in the hopes of being picked.

I've seen Ezo and Malladrin get 110 and 108 kills respectivly. Anyone else seen higher?

I've seen ezo nail down 136 in ?go base, and I'm sure he's done better.

i saw tobe go that high once, but we were feeding him large.

i've seen 100's plenty times. myself only getting there once

I've seen Fruitang get something like 115 too.

The most I ever got was 99. And I did that like 3 times. :P

Pretty good considering I play spider like once every 75 games.

when i began at ?go mythrandir i would just say "<spider" to let caps know that i was indeed there, and waited silently from then on. seemed to work fine.

Getting 100 isn't even a challenge. And luck can always give you the extra kills. Anyways spider (or any ship's) value shouldn't be measured by milking/high records. I find helping the team more important. Only a few players constantly push forward if their team is losing 2k-99k or something.
