Just because I feel the need to give back to the TW community something of value, I would like to start an instructional dictionary for those people who may just be starting to play the game. I know when I first started it took me a while to understand the ‘lingo’ or ‘TW speak’, so I thought I would go ahead and list some of the most commonly used terms and phases and their meaning.
“Lagger” - This is what you say when you can’t kill anything is sight or if someone has just killed you several times in a row. It is even more effective if you say it while are downloading porn, defragging your hard drive, and dying in TW all at the same time.
“Spawner” – This can be said any time you die in the lower ¾ of any arena.
“Noob” – This is what you call anyone you don’t like. It is ok to say this anytime, anywhere and to anyone, a truly universal word.
“The staff sucks” – This is what you say when you your “I want on the staff” PM’s go unanswered or when you get axed on the second day as a ZH. It is good to always hold this feeling for as long as possible and make sure that every staff member hears it from you. I mean, if you can’t be on staff, then why should anyone else?
“Usage is meaningless” – This is what you say when talking to anyone who has more TW experience than you.
“Records are meaningless” - This is what you say when you have a losing record.
“Cloakers are lame” – This is what you say every time you die by someone flying ship 8. This saying can quickly be adopted by substituting the appropriate ship name.
“Owned!” or “EZ” – This is what you say when you finally killed the guy who just killed you 8 times in a row.
