Complaint on pure_luck

Staff has the power to silence anyone if they are spamming as long the person has been warned. You were warned for it and then silenced after you did it again. This has nothing to do with TWL or even go base. If you think that a staff member was abusing because you weren't warned or you didn't spam then email complaints@trenchwars.org. The complaints sent there are looked over and are taken serious.

Pls define spamming and pls tell me if spamming is bannable. I was annoyed by many ppls's pming me... When I report to a staff, he just told me to ignore him...

My personal opinion. More than 2 lines in a public chat or team chat (blue and yellow) constitutes spam. I think 3 lines blocks what other ppl are saying (if I remember correctly). And the action PL took was a silence ... not a ban (if I read correctly).

Rule says you warn the person spamming that he will be silenced if he continues so why you guys are talking about banning? The only way he can be banned is if he evades the silencing by quiting and coming back to spam again.

Yes spamming is bannable! If I warn you and then silence you and you reenter the zone and keep spamming it is bannable! If the guy really spammed and you reported him the staff must have been wrong or you saw wrong. There are buggings and spamming. Just move on now, I think your ban is lifted by now.

P_L because your getting killed/stressed/whatever reason doesn't mean you should silence, if other people are bitching about it then yes, the right thing was done. If not, why use the powers if its not needed.

It looks like what happened is you just wanted to show that you are above him, even if your being killed.

Anyone who floods should be silenced, it's fucking annoying and childish - what's the big deal anyway? It doesn't matter what he spammed, only the fact that we WAS spamming. He didn't get banned, only silenced, stfu and move on.

It doesn't make saying 'td' right ... annoying people verbally is only wise on one occasion - that when they get mad by your words that your enemy start to lose aim/fly like a mad cow (yes you are right - mad cows can't fly)


Otherwise annoy your opponent verbally in a game is just silly TTD (Trash talk duel) excepted
