Fix ?go javs

they still save scores in WZ right?
Elim scores can be saved for days as long as you dont go in when robo resets everyone, then there's pub which saves your score for several arenas. Is bandwidth really that big of an issue?

If records take up bandwidth, and Memoria thingie is coming out, (which i at least ASSUME you kill people in), keeping a rec in ?go javs couldn't hurt.

Here is a better way to save. Stop putting up shitty arenas with lots of graphics that get megahype. When was the last time anyone played gravbomber or mariokart? Not since a week after they were uploaded. But during that brief period where people played, people were constantly downloading the oversized arenas.

Hell, delete all the arenas that get no play. And stop making shitty new ones.

I understand that you want your scores saved in javs, but calm down please.

Lets see, Gravvomver was hosted a few days ago and mariokart gets hosted quite a bit.

About the commend before, I understand you want the scores but don't throw stuff that you don't personally like to the wolves.

A little side project of mine that I put on hold when work on the memoria project started is a donkey kong arena with side-scrolling type feel. It is much shittier that what TWDev makes.

Finally Verthanthi, I hope for the sake of TW that staff doesn't take your post with anything more than a grain of salt. Verthanthi, you realize than for some people they have the same view of ?go javs or shrap or waldo or any of the other jav arenas that you have of Mario, fishtank and ghoulgames.

The arenas that get the MOST use have no super graphics pack. Elim, belim, pubs, dm, ?go base. One of the popular newer events, prodem, uses standard graphics. Admittedly, all of the zombies knock offs are an exception. But these games are all fun without the super graphics. If bandwith is a problem, nix the graphics. They are large and unnecessary. Hell, sometimes people don't want new graphics. I heard nothing but bitching when warzone turned over to the zone66 graphics.

And why I aimed this at TWDev: You have to admit that most new events die very quickly. If you took the time from graphics development and spent it on gameplay dev, I think you'd create much more lasting enjoyable games. Personally, I'd prefer if you fixed all the arenas we have rather than make new minigames.

Yes, I too am always disappointed in the fact that recs aren't there anymore. I used to spend all my time there but now there is no point so i play ?go base.
