Trench Wars Server

When the server was first moved to the U.S. my ping + ploss were fine. I got about 30-40 ms all the time. I left for a month or so, my ping then was 40-60. And now my ping is 60-70. What are you guys doing to the server? Also, you seriously need to figure a way to fix negative ploss, particuarly weapons ploss. I always have -0.1. This effects my game play drasticly.

Everybody knows HopOne.net sucks. Most of the people that lag get their lag from it. In my opinion it will screw many TWL games if it doesn't get fixed.

I don't know if this is related, but my packetloss has changed over the past 2 weeks. My ping has been a constant 60ms, but my packetloss has gone from around .1% to anywhere from 6-12% during most hours of the day.

yeah shitty hopjone always lags me up. it raised my pign by abotu 300ms, and makes my p0lsos around 1-2%. argh..,.

They pay for the server that use the hopone routers, so why woudln't they be able to get anything done? and yes this should be in TWStaff because they Pay for the server, thanks zeus

The server doesn't necessarily use the Hopone routers, it just happens to be the way our connections to the server are routed. I believe some Americans don't go through the Hopone routers.
