Is there anything unusual in the error / application logs?
If you have a nVidia Video card in your machine, grab the latest Detonator drivers for XP from the www.nvidia.com
XP has a Compatability package in it. You can try this on most programs (except, and this is very important- anti-virus programs - Do not try it on those). Right-click the applications file , click Properties from the pop up menu and click on the Compatibility tab. The box will let you change the Compatibility settings to one of the modes listed. Adjust it by checking one of the boxes. Then click Apply and OK and you are set.
If that all fails:
Stick the new Service Pack 1 on for XP, you should put it on anyway,
AND IF THAT FAILS, do as Dillusion says
btw, "Microsoft Certifed" means jack, as you can buy the answers for the papers
I have Win XP and I have a firewall running, so that isnt the problem, it may be because your Refresh Rate is a bit iffy... on Continuum main, click view>profiles. there will be a drop down menu called "Refresh" make sure it is set to default, then play.
If this works post a reply please...
