How can i increase my fps? 'cause i used to ave. about 60-68 and now i get between 30-65, reaaaaaaal choppy, sorry if previous thread about this didn't have time to look

Open Continuum Click On View>advanced Options And Check Avoid Page Flipping And Disable Clipping, That Should Almost Triple Your Fps I Run At 700fps But If I Uncheck Those 2 I Told U To Check My Fps Is 60fps

ya uh i ave about 135 but it goes down to around 98 at times and makes it choppy, not often but once in a while, any ideas how to fix that?

download DirectX9.0EndUser, and buy a new video card.

i remember i had my internet browser running in the background which was normal but my fps suddenly (in periodic cycles) dropped to 14 ... turns out some silly flash adverts were loading on my cpu from the browser despite not dling anythin of the page


now i got a new computer and also run noscript plugin for mozilla so this isn't a problem but things like that are good to check if you find your fps dropping strangely.

Are you running in 32 bit colors? I usually just use 8 bit colors (since I can't seem to tell a difference between 8, 16, and 32).. That will also raise FPS

Holy crap my graphics card doesn't even support 8 bit color.
