    Computer restarts randomly.

    Okey so this is how it goes.
    The computer sometimes restarts like you would push in the restart button.
    More often tho, it just closes all the programs and restarts itself the normal way without me really doing anything special.
    I have found out that the last thing happens when you do the following things:
    When I get into Run>msconfig and click on the autostart menu.
    When I try to download something. (Firefox and IE). I can still download pics, docs, and for example torrent files. You also download if you use "save as"
    When I change wallpapers.

    I'm pretty sure it some kind of virus.. Did this ever happen to you?

    And yeah. A while after it started acting like this I also got these big green pop-ups with messages about how islam is the best religion and some guidelines how to not live "filthy".

      Virus or over heating. Prolly your video card, have you over clocked anything?

        Or it could be your powersupply you might need a new one or one with more watts.

          The computer restarting like you would do yourself is surely a virus, you better scan your computer.

            iuts not pwr supply or overheating cause that would cause immediate shutdown. hes describing it as if he decided to shut down normally. therefor im about 90% sure its a virus, especially with the islam shit lol.

                  This was the last thing my old computer did before the power supply literally exploded due to motherboard failure.

                        All of the fans are working and I don't thinks it's clocked or anything like that..
                        I think it's the power supply. If I take my hand on the back on the power supply after the computer has been on for 2-3 hours it's really hot there. Tried to remove the chassi on one side to make it cooler and it helped a little. Still unbelievably slow..
                        Since it's not my computer (it's included in the apartment I rent) and I'm moving out in less the 2 weeks I couldn't care less for the machine.
                        Going to try out some virus scan too
