Subspace won't open

Yeah, so I was in ?go jee with Mayo and then I logged off and now I haven't been able to open Continuum .38 or 39 for two days. What happens is when I try, I get an arrow + hour glass cursor for eternity(until I reboot). I would see if its being opened or whatnot in Ctrl-Alt-Del Task Manager, but when I do, it closes the Task Manager screen.

I tried reinstalling it and still same problem. =/

EDIT: My computer runs slower after I try opening it, too.

I had the same problem before I removed Msblast and some other virus. Run a virus scan if you have a good one like Norton.

If it's not a virus, then your system might just be locking up due to not enough system resources. Close all programs other then Continuum.

This happened when I tried installing behind a firewall with the SOCKS proxy settings wrong. When I tried opening, I think Cont would look for a proxy forever and never really open. Reinstalling didn't help because the proxy settings are in the registry.

You case is a little different- I could kill the app, and my entire computer wasn't running slow. But in addition to virus checking, try deleting the registry entry and reinstalling.

I had 36 viruses but it still wouldn't work after I removed 'em.. so I just reformated and now it works, thanks.

Easier way, but if it works good!

Just uninstall Continuum and install it again
or if u had deleted the setup file just download and reinstall.
