MMR Corruption Today by the host Greed and players Kesser and VYS were all involved

This is the post that hit home to me, because I see it from a different perspective but it's the same reality. It has to be a troll at this point. She loves the negative attention she gets from driving people crazy. No matter how many pros try to legitimately and respectfully convince her otherwise, her fun from the game comes from attention, not competition or skill. That is the same reason why she refuses to ?ignore or ignore.txt. She wants the attention and then she wants to cry about it, to which staff have as a whole (not just me) become deaf to. I just don't care. None of staff really cares about what is going on with her. She will literally send some bullshit in that she brought on herself and it must be an unwritten rule that no one wants to say... Let it get buried, do nothing about it, and wait for the next cry in the next day or two. She's become the most gigantic pain in the ass in the history of this game on so many levels... and that's truly saying something.

Frankly, even though banning people is sort of my thing, this is much more of a league-based issue and I don't know that it falls into my "domain." I'd certainly love to see Jessup banned from all competitive aspects of the zone, but that's not really a call I can just make. And to be fair to the rest of you who are hoping for it, I very much doubt (correction: I am positive) that anyone who could make that decision will certainly not make that decision.

So, in summation, if I were you, I'd continue banging the drum to make some sort of modification to gameplay rules that punishes Jessup for her retarded play style that makes everyone except her miserable. Lots of smart, experienced minds on this forum should be able to think of something that makes sense to implement. If you need help advocating for it to get done, let me know and I'll try to pull the necessary levers for you to get it done.

There is no excuse for one person making an entire community miserable, or worse... people might just decide not to play anymore because it's that bad. And that would be the real tragedy. Oh, and Jessup would have to find a new game to get all the attention she wants.

There is a very long history of Jessup complaining about not being added/tked in TWDT, TWD, MMR, etc. Dozens upon dozens of threads through the years. He/she loves to feel excluded/discriminated against because it gives him/her purpose. Without it, he/she would be just like everyone else who doesn't get added because they don't fit into a lineup, except those people sit quietly in spec and don't immediately go to forums every single time they aren't added/are teamed up against.

Yes, this. Also, I think at this point Jessup might have severe mental issues as he/she sees the world upside down or something. But yeah, like Voth said, punishing him/her won't achieve much, but making different rules that punish his/her gameplay just might. Heck, might even make Jessup uninstall on it's own!

there are some benefits to playing defensively like turban said, but this is usually only in certain moments. biggest problem is that jess has shockingly bad game IQ for how long she's played, doesn't understand the concept of death management, teaming, knowing when suicides are beneficial to the team, and much more.

hypothetical situation: it's 5v5 and jessup is on 4 but the score is 40-40, every single suicide by jessup is infinitely more valuable than playing safely. jess has never understood this and doesn't seem like she ever will.

This is ridiculous and I've never seen more whiny trolls in my life than vys and greed.

Why are my abusers vys and greed and kesser still not banned after the abuse they did which I so clearly showed at the start of this thread?? Not to mention the sexual harassment vys has done and continues to do on a daily basis which is another aspect of why this troll needs to be dealt with by staff. I have not even gone into this aspect of this foul person's behavior during this thread but have made multiple reports to staff about his vile behavior to me over the last few years along with screenshots to back it up.

Again, I am volunteering to become an MMR host to help out the zone. I do play often and am ex staff of 8 years and an ex TSL host so this shouldn't be any issue for me to take on.

Greed refusing to do what he has been hired to do is unacceptable and a clear example of why he is not the type of caliber host we need if he is behaving like this and refusing to start games. It isn't fair to everyone and is just ridiculous behavior.

PS. In the last two days I have won multiple games and been MVP multiple times for the teams I've been on. These replies by the same usual Jessup trolls are nothing more than slander and can be completely ignored. The proven teamkilling abuse though needs to be addressed. Clearly illegal behavior by all named in the complaint.

as long as the competitive players in the zone keeps seeing you as a person who runs too often, this wont change. ever. none of it. chances are you wont even get anyone meaningfully punished. to be honest, i'm guessing that whoever you'd be accusing of something is more central to the zone that you are. no one will care since everyone sees you as the potential game-ruiner, or at the very least, a fun-ruiner.

you keep making these posts like you think anyone is going to come to your rescue. they arent. either they dont want to or it would be impractical to do so. the whole drama surrounding your playstyle has to be fun for you at this point, right? i mean, you keep doing it? one more time, just to reiterate, no one is going to come in and fix this for you. at some point i'd figure you'd come to the realization that this is just the way trenchwars is for you. other players more highly regarded would likely be afforded protections against abuses like the example here (and this is abuse, no question there.) hell, sounds like there were lots and lots of witnesses to the TK fest both in game and in spec. but thats the thing, the entire arena was having a good time watching both teams gang up and TK you.

but hey, you might actually affect something in TW through if you keep at it. people are already suggesting ideas on how to punish people who run and needlessly extend the game. i dont see the zone as a whole changing in any way on how it deals with you, though. you'll frustrate someone with your playstyle, and sometimes they'll do something against the rules to punish you for it, but since its you, no one cares. this isnt going to change.

This was with over 25 people in the arena hoping to play MMR. MMR hosts would rather AFK than host with Jessup playing because of how toxic it becomes and they don't want to have to deal with it. I don't blame at all Greed tbh.

But, Jessup's playing within the rules so unless the rules change - e.g. shorter timelimits on games, dynamically smaller maps depending on how many people left, 'shot clocks' where you have to shoot within X seconds to deplete your energy so you just can't run all the time - there's no legitimate action that could be taken to prevent this gameplay currently.

I used to be the most active host and tried balancing wb/jav and even allowed windows for basers
but people like jessup make it pretty draining not just for hosts but more importantly the people trying to play.

This along with it taking 10 minutes to get even a 4v4 going because of the increased zone advert timer even though its the only real activity in zone
And people logging off after dealing with jessup's hide-to-win playstyle making the next batch of games even harder to build, effectively drained my patience.

You've got some balls jessup! Lets get this right. You ran from me for 7 minutes until you bored me to death and killed me with 15 seconds left. You ruin leagues. The reason you have no impact on twl and twdt is because you dont get added because of how you play.

we seriously need to look at stopping him playing leagues. You ruined tsl with your shit and now you are doing it with this league. People need to make the correct decision for the players and stop him from playing.
