Pred my darling is actualy rite here. It isnt so much for the ppl who get occasional lag from a router, or server, or something like that. Them ppl do worst with lag then with low pings/ploss. The ppl who are good with lag are the ppl who been playing with it for months/years and constantly. You cant tell me someone like Crystal doesnt use lag to her advantage, or someone like Z*E*R*0 use to lag use it to his advantage. Grant they do shoot alot of ppl and the dont die, but they also get hit with alot of bullets that dont kill them. I use to lag bad and when i was use to it i wasnt so bad with it. Now that i have a nice low ping of like 20-40 and .1 .1 or so if i go back to my dialup which is now like 330 and 1.0 1.0 or so i suck realy bad bc im not use to it.

Who saw me in China? I was shooting 2" lagshots...it was quite amazing. But yet at certain times of the day, I could stay through a whole TWDD/JD/BD match without lagging out even once. My ploss would be 0.1 0.1, but my ms would be around 400-800. Would that be lagcheating?

I'm in the US now with a 40 ms, 0.0 0.0 lag, so don't tell me I lag

Im one of these poor bastards that always lag. I cant even play before 11
pm swedish time (5 pm est), cuase my ploss it above 15%. After 11 I get
around 270 ms ave and 1% ploss, and I cant do a thing about it ;_;

In a few days I will get a new 16 mbit connection tho, and I really hope Ill
get around 110-130 ms with that connection. Then you ppl wont have to live
with my lag anymore ^^

If you think some of the laggers in elim/TWD are bad, you would cry if you saw some of the worse laggers in pubs. The limits must be a lot higher, because some people jerk and teleport all over the screen and don't really lagout at all.

Truth... I was chasing some guy with 7000ms PING.. his high was 160000 $$$ lol.. He got specced from time to time, but I was amazed how long he could play with that lag without getting specced. Muah

I just tried to point out that if we start to qualify for TWL and some people get banned/removed for too much lag, but in other cases things never 'get that far', maybe it would be an unfair tournament. In other words: with referees each squad will be treated equally the same.

I dont know what the pub ping limits are but i believe ploss limit in pub is 13% b4 u lagout. So they are definatly higher, which they should be.

Me being staff and knowing this, how far can i push it before staff pull me out of the game? It's kind of funny when I was staff and I didn't know about any lag restrictions. It was more like, if you think he's lag-cheating, well then he's lag-cheating! It was a big up-roar of <ER>'s running around like mods and mods trying to deal with the situation and fighting amongst eachother. Then you had the s-mods come in like the big piece of shit and fuck the scenario up more then it already was. And yes I refer to these situations are scenarios because they were that completely fucked up.

I got to give it up to Nas that boy knows his shit. He's trying to make it better. It's people like him who try to keep fighting so this game doesn't turn to shit. You have won the it almost matters award of 2004.

Thats fuked up cops lol YOu know as well as i do that no matter how hard nas fights for something, or you/me/neone fights for something. If ur not in with the top guys running the zone (smod/sysop) then nothing matters.

There are many more ppl who could be banned for lagcheating. You dont have to look any farther then Sika now do u? I mean how many times have ppl said that he's lagcheating, even staffers (jason i think) has said he is lagcheating. yet nothing can be done bc he's in with someone high. Its not abuot what you know, its about WHO you know.

There is ploss limit in TWD. Max ploss you can have is 4.5.

Reconnecting doesn't help if your ISP has awful routers to abroad.

My comp at home lags like an sob at times(once in awhile 280, but normally just 180) when i play wb, 1/10 hits will kill someone, and other times misses of about 3 inches will kill them.)

exactly, but when ppl been laggin for months/ years they learn that u cant hit them rite on. They learn you have to aim ahead of the ppl. Therefor they arent really affected by it once they learn how to do it. I use to lag and i know thats what happend to me.
