If the limits were set low enough (ie 200 ms, .2 ploss) then it wouldn't be a problem.

You are kidding, right? Dial-up in Europe gives around 300ms ping (or at least I had). Cable in Australia gives 400ms ping. In middle of day in Europe I might get .1 ploss, in the evening when zone is full of people it might jump to 2%, where it has been for a long time.

I find when I have certain programs running, my ploss jumps from 0.1 to 1.2% and people start complaining that I lag

Especially the first 3, I'd ban those mega-laggots. I wouldn't be surprised if 1 or 2 on this list lagcheat.

You name 5 people now, but you could multiply that number with 20 or more. A lot of people are lagging, but you know what irritates me most: people who dont seem to lag much pingwise, but eat bullets.

Anyways, this thread was about staff acting different in identical cases, thats whats wrong. In the long run for TWL it might not make a difference, since squads will settle, but maybe when the last day of TWL qualifications will take place staff need to make up their mind to either check ALL matches for laggers, or none.

And javs should have max 10ms ping. Ok, maybe 150. With over 200ms they are invisible when rocketing.
