great now it's worse. The problem wasn't JUST that it checks when you make a kill, it's a rediculous limit. What you have is one of the developers looking at his/her connection during a time when his connection and Trench's connection are in perfect shape, and using that as the basis for the checks. That's not gonna work.
What's worse, suddenly Trench's connection gets all crappy for a minute or two and nearly everyone in a dd jd or bd massively lags out. If the connection stays crappy for a while, people end up using up their lagouts.
The Internet is fickle, let's not forget this. Screwing up games all the time in the pursuit of consistent connectivity is a bad idea in a non-dedicated network environment. It just makes people lose interest.
