i'd say gg in the vast majority of games i've played, wether win or lose. If ppl take it was sarcasm thats there problem, personly i think its only polite. If there has been a bad sportsmanship and loudmouths whining during the game from the other team i'd probably not say gg though

Yes, Fait, I agree. I too am tired of hearing EZ or omg newbed. The first just arragance, its just rude and there is no reason for it. The second is assanine. Saying "omg newbed", think about what that means... It means that YOU just got killed by a NEWB. What does that say about you? And I know some of you say things like, "its just a game, who cares". But just because its a game does not mean that there is no place for a little common courtesy.

I say 'gl' before every game and 'gg' after every game. It doesn't matter to me what the score was, there are people who give it their best and try hard even if it was a blowout. Actually, I especially respect people who don't give up and still try when their team is getting blown out.


I don't think anyone has ever thought me saying this stuff was an flame/insult. But perhaps this depends on the reputation of the person saying it. If you have a reputation of mouthing off I guess people might assume the 'gg' after a blowout was the speaker being an asshole.
